@hellgast0 @Aumakua Their humanity was never in question. The fact remains that they do not represent gamers, because they work in the gaming industry. They have no perspective on games with regard to actual gamers.
Dearest Gamespot, please realize that your employees do not represent gamers, as they are paid to play and review games. Therefore, it would be remiss of any of your employees to not have access to all systems for obvious reasons. Once again, you are out of touch with your customer base.
There's really nothing new here. The graphics are certainly polished, but it's all been done before. Im a fan of the old Thief games, but that was literally a decade ago. I hope Eidos has more up its sleeve than just the same old sh!t.
According to the flawed logic of those who consistently, and falsely, claim a link between violent video games and acts of violence, we must now ban the sports of boxing, wrestling, fencing, archery, marksmanship and martial arts. All of the aforementioned activities, after all, are simulations of violent acts and, therefore, cause violent acts.
Five years ago, the average gamer was 27. I cannot claim knowledge of that statistic today, but the average gamer is undoubtedly older than 27. The problem that continually plagues the game industry and gamers are the irresponsible parents who still think all games are on par with Super Mario Brothers with regard to violence. The ESRB is more strict than the movie rating system, yet parents continually neglect said ratings when they expose young children to adult games. Furthermore, they break the law. Enforcement of game ratings is the solution. Content of the games in question is protected under Free Speech and, as such, is sovereign and untouchable. Also F*CK Leland Yee.
@BrutalPandaX2 @SnappySnake How did I act like it was impeccable? Do you really expect people to interpret your message as having 'dimension or weight' with a comment like 'stfu'?
