Hey guys Ive been out of the game in hardware for a year (the question is was i ever lol). Been corupting my soul on my Xbox 360 and lost my subscription to PC gamer. I have no clue what new products are good. So I was checking prices on a new pc. The hardware i would of got last year on a mid-range machine for 1200$ is now worth about 600$. Like dual core 3ghz and 9800gtx. So was wondering whats the new Crysis in games? Is there a reason to upgrade for something more recent and high end? or be happy im getting my pc half price?

? A resolution of the monitor upgrading program ? i never heard of that. Because it physically impossible ! it all about ur monitor i mean ? i put my 4870x2 on a 1280x1024 monitor what happen ? i can't get it higher so i bough a 1920x1200 monitor LCD and eversince i'm more happy :)

It basically mean you have a LCD monitor of 2003's or some Extremely Rare model of VGA CRC monitor that don't haveSuper eXtended Graphics Array S-XGA(1024x780 4:3 = eXtended Graphics Array/ XGA ) must be Cheap LCD Monitor of Old time since it inferior of 90% OF VGA CRT monitor that i seen in canada which native res is Because they are S-XGA so 1280x1024 4:3 i know that i touched over 50 people pc with vga monitor :D i looked display setting even at school :P who ad 1990's IBM PC ad some old monitor that looked dirty and peach / white that display where 1280x1024 in task but some where 1024x780

But I know that my uncle owned a VGA CRC monitor that ain't S-XGA a pretty old model forgot age's the monitor dead :P

beside you alway being saying before that ur X2900XT + P4 3.2Ghz Being running great : of course ur using gaming resolution of 1996 and even lower :P lol i remember playing 75% Of my Game that ad the feature 1280x1024 on it :P only game such as elder-scroll Morrowind + mod that i could not with a nvidia geforce MX4. that what it learn me to have played on integrated chipset in for almost 2 year..

guess what happen if you buy a better monitor ? ur desktop will have a bigger looking :D: nicer looking8) but you alway told me how much not money you got:? so i bet ul go with the cheapest lcd monitor at 80-100$ with 1680x1050 ;)

What a waste of incomprehensive space.

Like I said I run a MSI Wind with a 10'' not so wide screen that runs at 1028x600. I never seen anything run at that res. The screen is like in between a widescreen and a square so its acward and I have to run many games at 800x600 (the second res). Netbooks are a pain. Since you don't have a cd drive you need to... well you know... to play games.

well the program 'astray'. I have no clue what it did but it put my winds res from the max (1024x600) to 1024x768. It fills the screen and DOES seem like the apropiate res. If you have a netbook or some monitor that has a low max res you can try and see. Although i think it just makes stuff look smaller and tricks the os into leting you run it. It just causes like 10-15fps in games i run at 30-40 with the scroll around same res. So then I'm looking for a program that tricks the pc into giving the illusion of uping the res but doesnt lag insanly. (Im trying to run easycap's ulead program)

I have no clue what the term is for this but i need a program to up the resolution on my wind to 1024x768. Many programs demand it and the winds natives are low. i was using astray but it lagged everything so it was useless. and it could run that res steadily. i looked around and wasnt succesful i think one of you guess might know something.

I know, for now I am perfectly happy with my performance. I want to read up on it for future use. When it starts getting to the point that I could use that little extra push I want to know what I need to do. Instead of just going into the situation blind and risking really frying my system.

what the warrenty on that thing? 1 year? give it 2 then it's fried. by that time Crytek wouldn't of made a game so the requirments won't be very reveloutionised

Can a laptops VGA port receive signal from a remote system so that it can use its display for say... a gaming console.
