24" Sceptre X24WG 1920x1200. Nothing special, just a TN panel, great price though, and it looks good (by TN standards).

17" 1280*1024, nothing amazing, i was going to upgrade it but both times something else cropped up. First time cooling upgrade, second time sound upgrade, maybe at Christmas i'll get a 24" along with a new GPU... I could really do with a 24" for programming cause again i plan on doing my A level project at home.

Right now a 22" AOC 1680x1050. Its a great monitor and I got it from work for $90. Question about that 3-monitor set up though:

Doesn't it get annoying with the borders making gaps like that?

!9" Acer P191w @14x9. Its pretty good, I've tried all sorts of LCDs and the price/peformance ratio was never good. I picked this one up for 76 bucks(including taxes) and its been really good. Even does 75hz at native res which all the prior ones which were more expensive wouldnt even do. But yeah it works, thats all that matters =).

could you please clarify the benefits of using an LCD monitor's refresh rate at anything higher than 60hz? Not to hijack the thread, that is.

Fast movement will look clearer on a 120hz LCD.

i.e. less blur.

[QUOTE="rikguenther"] could you please clarify the benefits of using an LCD monitor's refresh rate at anything higher than 60hz? Not to hijack the thread, that is.dbowman

@rikguenther, ye basically what dbowman said. Also though it not only looks clearer, but it feels MUCH better too. I play quake and a few other fast paced games, so the extra hz helps makes things feel much better. Furthermore, I see no screen tearing.(vsync = more input lag, so i dont use). Granted most LCDs run at 60hz but they feel much better at 75hz or better which even a few Viewsonics are supposedly doing 85hz now.

The 120hz LCDs are still quite expensive, and are actually quite comparable to CRTs running at 120hz which is good. However, since I'm poor 75hz almost feels as good as a CRT at 85hz which is playable for me.

23.6" ASUS VH242 running at 1920x1080 @ 75Hz. I bought it when it first came out in December for $180 shipped. Comes with VGA, DVI, and HDMI inputs. It's a TN panel of course, but the image quality is still great. I think it could rival an IPS panel in terms of image quality.
