I think Elders Scrolls is missing something in the combat. The latest one made magic more useful and that helped beef up the combat, but when using weapons it feels so stare and click. There are no critical spots to aim for or different ways to swing to bypass shield, or ways to block their weapon with yours...

@sir_inverno You can buy champs which can be over powered at times. You can also buy runes and such, but if you play long enough all of this is free. So you are only right when talking about players with low amounts of games played...

I have been playing since release and I havent bought anything and have earned enough points to unlock all but the season 3 champs. I must be a bastard who doesnt feel like returning the favor. I just take the free item and run...

So the expansion is bring more of the original back. The original game had a psi lab to basically buff your units. It also had tanks. Then of course the maps including crashes were possible in all environments. Kind of wish they did this originally.

@CrySyS2013 @Act_Chill First off I didnt use any exploits as I refused to. Most people who got past Act 2 Inferno early on used some sort of exploit like wizards 3 hit minimum ability with low hp and high hp regen. Second, even Blizzard admitted going from Act 1 to Act 2 was a huge jump in difficulty and it took them some time to fix. If you got lucky and got a good item drop it helped. Third, prices were a lot cheaper at the start, but as gold built up some top items now sell for a billion. Forth, being a wizard mass attach speed didnt help much as abilities tied to mana which was used faster and at the time mana on hit items were harder to get. When I finally got attack speed items Blizzard nerfed them...

Basically the game is luck in what drops you get. If you got lucky especially with your first couple of drops or you used exploits then yes the game is super easy. Probably now you can build an infernal level champ for 200K. They also made infernal a lot easier in order to implement monster power...

They need to bring back the larger parties and all the classes from MM3. Probably need to revamp the skills too. Been missing this style of game play.

Issue with D3 is you cant find good loot and the AH is expensive, so basically all my money from 150 hrs of play went to buying gear for 1 character. This also means I only played 1 character instead of all of them, which reduced my enjoyment. It takes way longer to max level and gear D3 characters than D2 so for people who wanted to play the game for 1000hrs it was great I guess...

@Kevin, when you talk to developers please butter them up for another Valkyria Chonicles style game play that mixed FPS and turn based games together. This would have been perfect for what Bureau: XCOM Declassified was probably going for.

It looks like this game was close to being good. If they wanted an FPS style game with turn based mechanics, Valkyria Chonicles already did it and they did it damn well.

A lot of games that are remastered just mean they place on the newest operating systems or platforms with some graphic updates. They did a good graphic update and added to the story. More than most people do, so they did a good job. If you didnt like the original, of course you are not going like the new version...
