@psuedospike Tower Defense games got big through Warcraft as custom maps. DOTA was the first MOBA or at least first successful one, which was a Warcraft mod. You would be better to say MOBAs are like Warcraft instead of WoW. Same company though...lol
@snaketus They attracted the non-hard core gamers. The kids who are not allowed to play violent games. It was also great for families because it was setup to play with people. Xbox and PS is more for playing with people through the internet or solo as appose to in the same room.
@IanNottinghamX They messed up on this console and they are going hurt profits if they release titles for Wii only due to the low volume. Say the Wii sold 4 million units, even if everyone bought Mario that is only 4 million copies. Some of the best selling Mario games sold like 25 million copies. See the issue here? They just need to move on and maybe attempt another console in 5 years.
@amcanes Considering that their console did bad, it would make financial sense to release their big titles like Mario and Zelda a year later or something to Xbox and PS4. That way people who really want it have to buy the Wii and people who dont eventually get it and Nintendo makes more money. Win win.
@faizanhd @lameoracle I played as a pure mage first time through and I would have to say it was more level based than skill. I didnt know where bonfires were and I was going in areas i wasnt ready for yet. Second time I played as a fighter and just dominated everything. I knew all the boss and enemy moves, where the items were, how to spec my champs, etc.
If you are leaving a comment here, most likely you already own a PC. The cost of a Steam Box will probably be more than upgrading your current computer. To me this doesnt make sense unless you dont own a computer, but who doesnt?
@eloy_m When they finally fix drop rate so you dont need AH, the game will be as it should have, which means come the expansion we will finally get the game we all wanted. The sad thing is I am already super bored of the game. Too little too late.
@GH05T-666 The issue is since items are easily found on the AH assuming you have gold or money there was no need to have good drops. I can play for hours without finding something worth keeping so there is no carrot at the end of the stick kind of reward system. In D2 and D3 I found something every hour. The charms that went in the inventory and the rune stones were very minor, but always useful giving you some sort of reward often ontop of set items and such.
