One of my favorite games
I am a huge fan of the 40k universe. I play the tabletop game, I own many novels pertaining to it, and I own most of the PC video games involving Warhammer. I truly felt that Warhammer 40k Dark Crusade was the best and m... Read Full Review

One of the few RTS that I can say I find only minor faults in, if any at all.
I remember the original Dawn Of War, I picked it up at the local wally-world because..to be honest, to me anyway, the RTS genre was in a bit of a slump in 2004. Warcraft III and its expansion had just graced us with thei... Read Full Review

Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War is quite possibly the best real time strategy game I have ever played. See Why...
Lets first talk about the most important factor... gameplay. Dawn of War has an easy learning curve. Its simple, capture points which give you a vital resource called requisition that helps create units and build struc... Read Full Review

A good RTS game but its not deserving of high 8's and 9's.
Dawn of war was a ok game but not a great game. I say only ok because it has several flaws. Firstly, the campaign... repititive skirmish maps strung together with a hint of storyline that, to be honest, fails to thrill. ... Read Full Review

I have never had any interest in the warhammer series until I got this out a few years ago. Dawn Of War's setting can be so obsessive. I like the factions they present in this game and their designs are really, really co... Read Full Review

I wished I would have played the game when it was released, frankly, I underestimated how good it would be.
I gave it a 9.5 after seeing the scores of other classic RTS games here at Gamespot. This game is as good at the C&C games, so I gave it a score that matches those games. As my summary states, I totally underestimated... Read Full Review

I played Dawn of War II first, then Dawn of War. That was a mistake.
I've only played the single-player campaign so this is what my review is covering. This is pretty much your standard RTS fare, set in the Warhammer 40k universe. Your objective is to destroy the enemy and you do this by ... Read Full Review

Supposed to be the final Dawn of War expansion....
Seeing that I have played Dawn Of War and Winter Assault, I can still believe that this game still impresses me until now. Gameplay: UPS: >War is still like the original, epic and large scaled >Good number of facti... Read Full Review
