when will 360 show graphics like Uncharted 2/Killzone2?

Ive played Gears 2, and it doesnt look even close to as good as KZ2 or UC2. My friend even admited that, and he's an xbot.

Never probably. And thats entirely MS' fault. For their reluctance to build up a strong first-party team and short sighted-ness. I think the 360 is capable of producing graphics as good as the top PS3 games but like i said, its probably never gonna happen.

I think Reach has a really good chance at looking amazing. If we see the size of a jump we saw between halo 1 and 2 for halo 3 and reach, I think we will be in for a treat. Also, all the people saying GeOW 2 looks better than U2, no.

they both have even graphics. depends on the developer and how they manage the software.

what i've noticed is 360 has better textures and antialiasing, but ps3 has better effects like lighting, particle effects, stuff like that (uncharted 2 has better textures, but thats in one case).

ps3 exclusives are looking better and better, but 360 has things up its sleeves like splinter cell conviction and alan wake.

I have owned all 3 current gen consoles, which I believe gives me a vlaid opinion. NOTHING else on consoles comes close to U2 and KZ2. U2 actually felt kind of weird playing at first because it looks so good, it was almost like I shouldn't be playing it. Hard to explain. Not every second is that amazing, but every other minute is. I thought Gears looked awesome, and Gears 2 was good, but not much of an upgrade and nothing that really excited me. I got a PS3 about a week after MGS4 was released. I was so amazed by the graphics and went and bought a new TV the following week.

Something you fail to notice, U2, KZ2, MGS4 are all first party games. So they will get more support than devs making multiplat games.

i think dead space is the best looking game ever. the only way we can say this game has better graphics than another is to imply that theres a standard or a objective way of comparing them. since the only objective thing in visuals is the tech thats all we have to go on. and sorry but tech wise MGS4 is horrible. not even good.

360 has been out a year longer than PS3 but PS3 is way ahead of them in graphics when it comes to exlusives. Uncharted 2 (and 1 lol) and Killzone 2, MGS4 are way superior in the graphics department. Gears 2 shows very little improvements and Halo ODST is laughable. Doesn't this confirm that developers are holding back on multiplatform games when it comes to the PS3?

one cant expect to reason with you or else use logic considering you are somehow confirming Halo:Reach to be the next console graphics king, keep in mind we have seen nothing yet (specially gameplay vids) for Halo:Reach yet its been hyped by 360 fans as the next graphics king already..

But in here apparently only 'cows' hype exclusives as graphics king without seeing gameplay.. ppffff

With this i am sure Alan Wake will be visually great and look forward to it, but dont forget there are 3 other little titles coming out on PS3 which will surely challenge the likes of Alan Wake, ME2,Splinter cell & Halo:Reach (lets list it to make fans happy) and these are 100% PS3 exclusives such as GOW3, The Last Guardian & Heavy Rain..

not even listing GT5 cause apparently racing titles dont count in console graphics king related topics..

Gears 2 and Banjo come pretty close. I think it's so close it's not worth bothering about.

Talking about the difference between 360/PS3 and PC or 360/PS3 and Wii is a much bigger difference, and yet those topics aren't as prominent.

360 has better graphical games than MGS4, and Gears 2 is comparable to Uncharted 2
