when will 360 show graphics like Uncharted 2/Killzone2?

360 has been out a year longer than PS3 but PS3 is way ahead of them in graphics when it comes to exlusives. Uncharted 2 (and 1 lol) and Killzone 2, MGS4 are way superior in the graphics department. Gears 2 shows very little improvements and Halo ODST is laughable. Doesn't this confirm that developers are holding back on multiplatform games when it comes to the PS3?

Never, I just think it will not get enough dedication unless crysis 2 ends up doing good on it. But since all we have seen are tech demos we cant really say.

Something you fail to notice, U2, KZ2, MGS4 are all first party games. So they will get more support than devs making multiplat games.

Could be that it has never had the time, money, and engine built ground up for it. But it wont have to when Crysis2 is out.

Gears Of War 1-2 and Mass Effect look as good as U2 and Killzone 2

Halo 3 and ODST look good to me definately not laughable.

One of the biggest limiting factors is DVD. Blue Ray's extra size means developers can put extra in it. Sure multi DVD would work, but muti disk games have for the most part fallen out of favor and are shunned. Hard drive loaded games (game is mostly on hard drive) are not widely accepted, and would alienate the fools who bought the $200 360.

2 me, they will, in 2010, with alan wake. with the lighting, physics effect, details and many more, it rivals the best looking ps3 exclusives, though heavy rain looks set 2 b even better looking than those 2 ps3 exclusives u mentioned. gow 3 dont look very impressive 2 b honest.

I really can't see 360 exclusives topping themselves. Rumor has it Gears 3 won't make it to 360. Halo 4 I dont see, Halo Reach most likely will use the same game engine. So i guess 360 has reached its peak. It could continue releasing AAA games but graphically nothing will change, or PS3 will top it in any genre. ex: Forza 3 looks amazing but PS3 will top it with GT5

I agree, Killzone 2 (well now uncharted 2) was graphics king, i never said it wasnt, but gears 2 is on that level, and has superior textures than killzone 2. Killzone 2 has MUCH better lighting, and post processing effects. But graphically, these two consoles are pretty equal, only difference comes down to dev talent, budget, and time.

Killzone 2 has MUCH better lighting, and post processing effects. But graphically, these two consoles are pretty equal, only difference comes down to dev talent, budget, and time.

That is exactly the 360 would need a game with more dedication and support if its to have a game at the level of Uncharted 2.

If 360 games pushed graphics more there'd be more RRoD issues.

its 6gb uncompressed on a hardrive. which is actually including more assests since it has to include all the texture at every setting. try again.

Let's face it: graphics aren't going to change gameplay too much this generation. The PS3's graphics are not so much better that the 360's is vastly inferior.

And it's crystal clear that the companies are now having a race towards motion controls as the "next big thing" to change console gaming.
