What is Watch_Dogs?

-Watch Dogs is an open-world game from Ubisoft Montreal. You play as Aiden Pearce, a broody vigilante with an iPhone that is able to control the city of Chicago.

When is it coming out?

-May 27th of 2014 for PS4, PS3, Xbone, 360, and PC (TBA on Wii U, but honestly, who's getting it on WiiU?)

Will it have multiplayer?

-Watch_Dogs features a revolutionary multiplayer system in which a player can sneak into another player's game and attempt to hack them. There will also be competitive multiplayer modes and free-roam.

Hyping it AA, 8/10 on Gamespot. Game looks good, but it doesn't feel like the limitless awesome we saw back at E3 2012.

AAAAE for the PS4 version, AA for all the others.

Already have mine preordered. Im guessing it gets 8/10

Same. I'm gonna say it will get either an 8 or 9.

The more I see of this game, the less excited I become. I have no hype at all for this game, but it looks like an A.

It will score 8

Its going to either be completely new and awesome or a terrible failure. I don't see it falling in the middle. Some of the online multiplayer ideas are kinda cool though.

I think it will be about a 7.

My friends the 5 step plan is rather simple...

1. 2/3 of the game will be a monotonous tutorial introducing you to incredibly simply mechanics.

2. The game play will be easy that upgrades and the entire point of playing will be pointless.

3. You will be spammed with cutscene after cutscenes of Ubisofts piss poor attempts at being mature and movie like.

4. Obligatory minority friend.

5. Shitty ending specifically designed to set up sequels.

It's a winner.

A. New IP with some ambition. Usually those have some big flaws which will be fixed in the sequel.

Looks like Ass Creed with guns, cars and a fking cellphone. 8/10 on GS. 6/10 for me.

i think this game is a solid 9. if it's not quite as great as it seems, then i think it drops to 8, but not lower.

As interesting as this game is, I think GameSpot continues their streak of 8's with this one.

8/10 all day long. Pushing the taco truck was like the COD dev pushing dynamic fish A.I.

Completely unrelated, but I find it funny this games set in chicago. Chiraq is going through one of the worst fire arm crisis's we have possibly ever had in this country, Ubisoft is either going to play into the popularity of drill music or get eaten alive by the media.

Ah I see, lol. I suspected that possibility and just in case, so was my post.

Game seems way too good to be true. It might end up being repetitive or lacking content so AA for me.

Multiplayer stinks. :(

Put me down for a 7. Even lower if the game is more like Assassin's Creed and is ruined by tacked on multiplayer, so I'll wait for a bit instead of buying it on day 1.

I'm calling SlayAAA.

Predictions.

1) It'll be like Sleeping Dogs. Vast open world when not in missions. Linear, on rails during missions.

2) Mechanics will be cool at first but will be super repetitive.

3) Unless you're playing with 10 friends, this kind of cooperative multi player won't work at all with randoms.

4) Missions will be: A car chase, followed by "sneak in a building and hack our conveniently placed set pieces, then hold the square button to steal the objective", followed by "drive to destination B, shoot 20 or so poor AI, enter a building, shoot some more, kill a major antagonist, leave". And then repeated 4 or 5 times until the end of the game.

This is going to be one of those games... Book it. 7.5/10. Detailed world, cool concept but repetitive, and awful multi player. AA
