It's actually using the gameplay to sell. The fan service is mostly in good taste, and the style isn't made specifically to try and do a sex-sells things, the artist has been drawing for well over a decade including the designs for skullgirls itself.

I'm generally not big on fighting games, especially when it's a 6 button fighter (because of the controls), but this one looks promising. I'll keep my eye on it.

Its feels kinda like DOA in the fanservice department just with not as much jiggle to boobs and no sexy outfits. Just has cleavege,panty shots and boob close up. Not a bad thing though.

All the rest are pretty tame. Miss fortune may have alot of skin showing, but you're not really focusing on that when she's ripping out a yarn ball made of her own muscle tissue

Well,since it´s coming to the PC as well I may give it a go when it´s really cheap,though if none of my steam friends gets it I probably won´t as well,not really interested in playing alone. :P

i dont see a problem with the roster being small if the characters are designed to be different enough in gameplay and balanced.

Some games with 30 characters only have 3 of them played over and over online.

Parasoul is looking pretty good to me right now, and I'll probably main her. Don't really care much for the other characters though.

The netcode is GGPO which is rollback based, so it's going to be solid.

One of the future characters is a zombie opera singer with a skeleton dragon piercing her thats going to have stance cancels and all sorts of stuff that will be cool.

You should buy the game to support an indie developer and maybe look into the DLC characters when they come out! It'll be cool.

really lack of a move list. I mean wth were the devs thinking. This is a fighter. A move list should exist in this type of game. They should really patch that in after release. Also I can understand how the AI can be counted as a negative if even on the easier modes the ai beats the crap out of you. All that aside game sure looks pretty.

The reviewer could also be fairly bad at fighting games since teh AI is made to be smart. They focus on what the characters are designed for and do things like doing a meaty sweep on your wake up.

Whats amazing about all this is the fact that when Tatsunoko vs Capcom released all the fans of other consoles outside of the Wii were saying this one little excuse as to why they won't even try the game. That excuse was: NOBODY EVEN KNOWS THOSE CHARACTERS. Well lookey here, a new game where NOBODY REALLY KNOWS ANY OF THE CHARACTERS (at least Tatsunoko has some history worldwide) but these characters are COMPLETELY NEW and yet this game gets the Pass yet Tatsunoko vs Capcom gets dissed because nobody knows the characters? The truth was, they didn't want to play TvC because it wasn't on the PS3 or 360 regardless of how good the game is.nini200
