I am loving the uniqueness of the characters and the technical aspects of the fighting system.

Not a huge fan of the artstyle though. Really don't like how some of those characters look.

But like I said, it looks fun as hell and I'll probably buy.

I'd like to think the Bloody Marie might be one, but who knows. For the most part, all new characters will be DLC for a while.

1 more week until we reach the promise land, ladies and gentlemen(?).

For right now, I would like everyone interested in the game to say what platform(s) they will get the game on and leave their Gamertag/PSN ID/Steam(?) nickname. I'll make a quick list like someone suggested earlier. I think it would be fun to play with some GS/SW regulars. Don't forget to send a message along with the friend request saying who you are if your ID name is different from your GS name.

I will be getting the PS3 version and the PC version whenever it comes around. 360 version is not definite yet.

From my lurking on SRK, MikeZ said at some point he might change the button combination for assist calls to make it easier for pad players.

So instead of LK+MP OR LP+MK and MP+HK OR MK+HP.

It'll be LK+MP OR MK+HP and LP+MK OR MP+HK.

This just means that players will be able to use the shoulder buttons for the combinations instead of having to reach across or use a macro and stuff.

Of course this isn't set in stone, but it's still a possibility, so for those who can't adapt to 6 buttons (Darklink) the game should be catering to your needs a fair amount.

Pfft, he's never been solid S-tier, and he's dropped tiers as the game has gone on.

He's probably around A tier, but then again....this is Guilty Gear. This game is so well balanced.

That's because his combo routes were very simple and damaging, counter hit Pilebunker essentially stunned every character, and his backdash had like 19 frames of invincibility!

He's so different in AC though, and he gets combos so easily.

"Oh, I hit you LOL AIR COMBO."

You're lucky Sol/Order Sol are hard to do the more damaging combos on.

Well, I was never too fond of May in the first place. She was the first character I tried, so I sorta stuck with her.

Just not sure yet who I'll end up using in actual competitive play.

Now, I know it's almost April Fools.

But according to Mike_Z, Microsoft has approved 4/11 as the release date, with Sony probably allowing for the 10th.

I hope like hell this isnt a joke.

They said there will be a trailer on Monday or Tuesday, and the game is supposed to be coming out around this time anyway.

I'm going to trust it, but not entirely.

Fun fact, PS3 was the main system the game was programmed for because it was harder. This way the games are the same on both systems so the game is ported over to the easier console rather than to the harder one with risk of errors and stuff like that.

Don't know if that's the correct way to say it, but yeah.

PS3 does have a few more trophies than the 360 has achievements, but that has something to do with a limit on the 360 and might be patched to add the missing ones later.
