I didn't mind the GS review that much because she mentions those aspects and then she moves on but to dedicate several paragraphs to such a meaningless topic like in the Kotaku review is ... kind of sad actually.

I'm sorry but Skyward Sword wasn't the best Zelda game at all for me. The score was fair and I rather play BOTW than Skyward Sword despite BOTW was hardly my fav Zelda game.

Resetera suppressing all discussion of the game outside of it being transphobic is wild. I knew that place was bad, but this has me amazed.

I've kept my excitement in check for a long time on this. The hype was so high on this game there's no way it could meet the lofy expectations from everyone. Still, just reading the complaints in the review clearly shows the huge scope they tried to get with this game, and I think that should be commended rather than dismissed as side activities that they didn't bother with. Especially when we don't really get as many new IPs of this scope anymore and just get fed the same copy and paste franchises year after year.

Oh man, I've just seen some of the screenshots of the bugs. I cannot wait for the inevitably hilarious jank compilation from Shy (a YouTuber I subscribe to) - probably once she recovers from COVID.

@davillain-: History would probably side with Gamespot on the 7 it gave Skyward Sword.

My point is, maybe we should wait for more people to play the game before dogpiling the reviewer.

7/10 due to political reasons at a site that has become a SJW refuge for really bad reviewers. Meh. 91% it is.

I laughed way to loud at the negatives for Cyberpunk if this is how one justifies there opinion then Why even post it? 90% of those aren't even valid to being a review, Like reviews shouldn't paste to what you believe in, it should be about the art in front of you. It's like me hating the scream because I like blue instead of red. Reviewers these days aren't reviewers they are children.

So in the end it is game bugs which is the major let down. That's veey disappointing given the delays. Sounds like perhaps they make the world too complex and it made it difficult to keep bugs under control.

Regardless, seems the majority enjoy the gameplay which is the important thing, looking forward to it.

Cdpr should still be applauded as a Dev who continues to try new things and isn't afraid to push the boundaries and I hope that continues.

@Pedro: Era is still the best place for industry news and console availability info. I owe that place for the 2 Series X and PS5 consoles I was able to get. But there is no room for any sort of discussion on topics involving race, gender, sexual orientation etc. There’s only certain thoughts and opinions that are allowed there. The majority of white people are racist, all rich people are evil, capitalism is bad, everything is sexist/transphobic etc. Try to challenge any post regarding any of those topics will catch you a ban. It’s best to keep your mouth shut, and get the info you’re looking for and get the hell out.

LMAO another title that Ghost hyped to high heavens to turn out to flop. It's a Ghosts curse.

The one thing I think might sound the most annoying might be the game's quest tracking which I heard just tracks everything and leaves players with no real sense of direction for the game. I feel that way about the Forza Horizon games, where there's a lot to do and it is fun but eventually feels overwhelming, seems like for every event I participate in that several more open up and there never seems to be a grander sense of completion to strive toward. RDR2 gives players so much to do but it is pretty clear where the story missions are and where the side quests are and other things like challenges or tasks and such. Then again, Prey (2017) felt that way at first, I felt it gave me too much freedom at first and getting a grasp of how to proceed in the game took a while before I was having one of my best gaming experiences of the generation.

Bugs are never good though. Hope the day one patch does a lot to remedy the big stuff. My biggest worry on that end is playing them on my 9th gen system, we heard about how some games might brick a system, I hope this isn't one of them.

Here here, I dig the world they're in so I need to try this out, this will be one of those games that takes me a year to get through.

The criticism from this review is mostly based off SJW BS. People in this industry are to sensitive and mentally weak/ill.

No. But we do know how the gender pronouns work, and how if you play as a male trans character, they will incorrectly be the “giver” not the “taker” during the intercourse with sex workers portions of the game. You know, the real issues the consumers want to know about.

How many reviewers do you think could have a serious discussion about performance? Most of them claim to not see past 1080p and 30fps...
