Cyberpunk 2077 is near the release day and what better way to get all hype now! GS Reviews gives it 7/10!

Just ordered a Razer 15 Advanced, hope this doesn’t cook my new laptop on high/ultra settings.

I’ve been on a blackout on CP2077 so I really know nothing about this at all aside what the very first few trailers years ago showed. Going in largely blind and honestly not all that hyped. Witcher III was alright, and I’m not a fan of FPSes, I wish they had made this a TPS with turn based, action points combat, but we’ll see how it is.

What’s with the requirements graphic? What’s the difference between green and blue? Ray Tracing?

You make no sense you hated the Witcher 3 and open world games in general if anybody is not going to like this game it will be you. And why do you care what games I like or not?? The funniest part is you're pretending to be hyped for a game that you are not even playing we all know you don't play video games you just pretend to and that's really sad. For me I will be preloading this game on Steam Monday.

Overhyped game that I'm sure will score well just because it has been anticipated for a long time. I will likely pick it up at some point, but haven't been impressed with anything I've seen to this point. Just looks like a steampunk GTA with only crappy first person. They should have kept 3rd person... I like games that you can switch between the two.

Yeah, I don't really care either way man. I just think it's funny that the game was hyped as some sort of gaming revolution. Hopefully it is because it pissed off woke assholes though.. lol

I don't take any reviews seriously and judge games on a personal basis. I'll likely get the game at some point, and the fact the game got a slightly lower score than many anticipated only makes me want to play it more... strange as that may seem.

In this thread, the majority of people hyped it 10/10.

I just started my pre-download on GoG and really can't say for sure on the day 1 patch but these type of patches aren't something I'll care. IGN gave it a 9 but I haven't read it yet regarding day 1 patch.

Wasn't that off. Tbh if I knew who the reviewer was I would have gone lower.

CDPR wanted to delay it till next year but they underestimated themselves but I blame it on current-gen for stalling the game.

Do you know where they said they wanted to delay it to 2021? I wouldn't be surprised, but I wanna see the quote.

but bugs seem like the main concern at this point. haven't read any details to know what kind of bugs

the PC gamer article says they got a 50gb patch during the review process, but more fixes will be added to the actual launch patch.

so it'll probably be buggy

Take it in stride. Gamespot gave New Vegas, arguably the best RPG is last gen, a 7. Then they give a walking turd simulator like Death Stranding a 9.

Put the review in context and keep in mind that points lost for bugs can be updated.

Preloading now GS review is hilariously bad and embarrassing and honestly the more SJW's get offended by this the more I want to play bugs be damned I love the Cyberpunk 2077 world.

I'll wait to form my own opinion. My main concern are the bugs really.

Anthem, Andromeda, and NMS all bigger actual flops. NMS made a comeback though.

Kinda sucks, but not unexpected given the supposed rampancy of bugs. Hopefully there's a couple of fixes by the time my new PC is up-and-running.

The ads are one of many, many aesthetic choices in Cyberpunk 2077 that are grating with no real point. There's one ad in particular that was the topic of much discussion pre-release; it features a feminine person with a giant, exaggerated, veiny erection in their leotard and advertises a drink called Chromanticore with the tagline "mix it up." It is everywhere. And while the "purpose" of it may be to show what a sex-obsessed, superficial, exploitative place Night City is, there's nothing in the main story or any of the side quests I did that gives it even that much context--I found just one message on one of the many computers I logged into that commented on how low-brow Night City culture is. The result is that there's a fetishization of trans people at every turn, in a game with only one very minor trans character (that I found, at least) and no way to play as an authentically trans character yourself.

Wasn't hyped for this game. Surprised it wasn't delayed again...though sounds like maybe it should have been...
