I was hoping for Dark Super Sonic in SU.

Oh we could pretty much rewrite the entire "Holy Grail" story with Sonic and pals and it be hilarious and instead of the Black Knight being the final boss, they'd have to fight the Black Beast of Aaaaaaaarrrrrggghhh!!!

Yeah a Dark Super Sonic how be great.

Look at any Western RPG game with females in it. They're all wearing only enough armor to cover a quarter of a person.

Though maybe Blaze will team up with Amy, Elise, Cream, and Rouge and they'll live in Castle Anthrax.

Notice at the bottom is says "Sonic storybook series" and before you get excited about the Wi-Fi logo, it's not racing or dueling or anything that might actually be fun. From what I hear it's treasure trading or some sh-- like that. Yeah why would we want to have sword duels or races when we could trade treasure. OOOhhh somebody pinch me.

Sword duels would have been awesome and so would multiplayer have been. I hope SEGA learn not to put to many characters in it.chocolate1325

I just wish the game would take a cue from Sonic Advance if you're going to put Sonic's friends in the game:

1) Let them run fast! Remember how fun it was playing as Knuckles and Tails in Sonic 3? Why? Because they ran fast. They had their own unique moves and it was fun. Why Sega makes them do sh-- like drive clunky mechs, tote guns or hunt for Emeralds is beyond me because those aren't that fun.

2) Don't force us to play as them. Supposedly this game is taking a cue from Sonic Advance and giving players the choice to play as who they want. None of this, play every character storyline to finish the game crap. Then purists are happy because they can just play as Sonic and noobs get to play as whoever they want.

Well at least despite having the sword, Sonic's running fast while slashing through baddies and you gotta get a kick out of the elf girl. Looks more like World of Warcraft than King Arthur's court.

Hey wouldn't that be funny if the storyline began with Sonic, Shadow and Knuckles playing WoW (or a reasonable facimily) and got sucked into the game.

I'm still going to be it doesn't go online with that though. Sega left online out of Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity and Sega Superstar Tennis then again Nights: Journey of Dreams did have online play, so let's see if Sega does do an online death match. Come on Sega, we want to have Sonicspot tournaments with something besides Brawl.

As with Secret Rings, the cutscenes between levels will have a sort of woodcut print look to give the game its storybook feel. As with Secret Rings which most of us unanaimously decided was Sonic's dream, the friends will play as characters from the story Sonic reads instead of themselves.

8 hours later.... (that really happened when I installed it)

Elf girl from trailer appears: "Welcome to Hyrulbion" do you agree to the terms of agreement?

Sonic: hmm....

Girl: Just click accept.

Sonic designs his character and starts playing.

10 hours later....

Sonic still at computer in a trance fingers still clicking keyboard and mouse: "This game is amazing. I'm almost at level 10"

Sonic's cell phone rings of the Sonic and Knuckles title theme.

Sonic: It's awesome. I'm a night elf warrior near level 10!

Oh wow, what a surprise. Nintendo Power gave another Sonic game an 8/10.

Here's a link to some gameplay vids of the game at the NY comic con. I will say that despite the sword, at least Sonic is running fast through the levels and not having to slow down much to fight crap.

Cool, we can all finally play a Sonic console game online together and maybe eventuallly have a tournament.
