Do you think he was justified in shooting him?

Brag about it?
Why would you brag that you have 0 awareness to tell the feature differences between a male and a female?
Took me less than a second to tell that was a guy.
Some people really can't tell the difference, plus at 16 he was probably so horny he didn't even noticeBrag about it?

Talk about an overreaction...while the trans person was in the wrong, you don't respond this way, period.
I thought the tranny would get in trouble for trying to be with a 16 year-old, but apparently Florida's close-in-age exception lets 23 year-olds be with 16 year-olds. Not exactly close-in-age in my opinion (or other states), but it looks like this kid is going to get some jail time added to his already in-jail time.
I imagine most sane people would probably just run out of the room in a huff. Not, y'know, try to murder them. But also, I think a lot of people are underestimating how they would react if they found out a sexual interest was of the same sex secretly. Most people would not say "Oh, that is cool, lets have sex still."

Or you know, tell him just to leave, it ain't that hard to use words dude.
It's not really clear that she intentionally misled him.Talk about an overreaction...while the trans person was in the wrong, you don't respond this way, period.

Do we know if it was his house? Also no, someone sexually tricking you into physical contact is not that simple, it's a freaking felony in many cases. No, he could've said GTFO, simple as that.

According to "Coco": "Spencer had originally expressed interest in dating her, thinking she was a woman, but when she revealed her true gender -- that's when things took a violent turn."
According to TPD: "Spencer lured her to 'this' home, pulled out a gun, stole her purse, and then shot her"
I don't see where she "tricked" him, or am I missing some of the story?Â

She portrayed herself as being female, a sex that she is not. She revealed it to him, then he stole her purse and shot her (according to the video). Or is she not allowed to publicly identify as a female at all?[QUOTE="Inconsistancy"]She revealed it to him, then he stole her purse and shot her (according to the video). Or is she not allowed to publicly identify as a female at all? She is allowed to do that if she wants, that doesn't mean that the other guy wasn't tricked. There's no indication from the video that she had any intent to deceive him. Unless someone has a more in-depth coverage of the story that indicates in some way that she intended to deceive him, it seems to me that a lot of people are jumping to conclusions w/o any evidence to support their speculation.[QUOTE="thegerg"] She portrayed herself as being female, a sex that she is not. thegerg

Like you? No one filmed him bringing her to the house, it's he said they said we said.
Something tells me he didn't shoot the person because he felt "tricked". He probably felt aroused by revelation and shot the person because he didn't want to accept his feelings. If I found out my crush was orignally a dude, sure I would be furious but I wouldn't attack the person. Just accept it and move on.
