GGD Lounge 5 - The Real Drinking Simulator

I figured we were due for a new GGD Lounge. How is everyone doing? What are you playing?

I've been playing a bunch of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, which is great, despite having ridiculously forgiving gameplay.:P I'm eagerly awaiting GT5. It has been a long five and a half years, but it is finally coming out. We are also due for some nasty winter weather over the next few days, so knowing my luck, our power will go out, or I'll slide through an intersection and crash on my way to pick up the game.:P

I have also been looking forward to GT5, but i've been hearing some bad stuff about the game over in the game's forum. They said people in Europe who are buying it early are saying its got all kinds of issues. I hope they're just rumors and not true.

Holy crap! I got a check that was about three times bigger than I thought it would be. Times are still tight at the shop, but this came at a time when I really needed some cash. I will have a full tank of gas for the first time in a really long time.

I used to be so nervous when taking tests during my freshman and sophomore year of college but now I don't even get nervous one bit. I don't know what it is but not being nervous has made taking tests more easier and am able to focus on the questions better.

Loving the header image: I love The Shining. :P

Been playing Burnout Paradise and Fallout: New Vegas. Practically done now with Burnout, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

I miss college. Simpler times. Nowadays I have all kinds of heavy stuff to deal with on a daily basis. I guess I need another therapy session tonight. [spoiler] Walking around Cyrodiil in the nude. [/spoiler]

Yea, how about tonight? We only played one match. lol I kinda feel stupid for sending you that msg as I thought we got matched up randomly but realized later that you joined me. :P

Ewwww gross...GL (though you might be done by now idk, you west coasters).

I have to sign up for a course for next semester tomorrow. That means waiting 2 hours to do something that could take 2 mins. Last time I went to sign up, which was in the summer I waited about 2 hrs. The guidance man would call someone back, they would go into his office for about 5 mins and leave...then 20 minutes later he would call another person back and so on...when I finally got called I realized he had been watching the world cup on his computer which is why there were such long breaks in between every person getting called in and leaving.

I love me some thundering rainstorms. :P

The new Harry Potter is pretty solid. I saw it with some friends last night and really enjoyed it. Five and six were kinda 'meh', but The Deathly Hallows is back on track.rragnaar

Btw what was the logic in GT5 coming out on a Wednesday instead of the normal Tuesday? Its almost like Poly was like "you guys have waited six years now we're gonna make you wait one more day god damnit."

The middle of the week is usually pretty dead, and yeah, between it being the day before a holiday and the fact that it is going to be ridiculously cold, I don't think too many people will be out and about tomorrow.

I'm going to get frostbite tomorrow.:P

Been switching between Borderlands, Mass Effect 2, and The Witcher.

Just finished a game on the Witcher, have a save with Geralt at Level 40 (Master Witcher).

I went crazy with ME2, went on a DLC buying spree.:P

Looking forward to ME3, Witcher 2, and yes even DA 2.
