Don't you dare even consider getting any game over LBP, LBP by far, Spiderman Web of Shadows looks like more of the same to me.

Bioshock man...this game rocks

I'm getting Worms Armageddon, Half Life, and The Suffering, off Amazon. But I'm trying to chose between System Shock 2 and Castlevania Symphony of the Night. I have a Windows 2000 computer that only plays games from 1999 or earlier, (I'm not sure about the absolute limit of what it can play because I'm kinda a PC noob, but games like Medal of Honor Allied Assault don't run well on it) so I thought System Shock 2 would be a good choice, but Castlevania SotN is 10 dollars cheaper.

What should I get?

BTW I love first person shooters and horror games but I also love Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow so I'm pretty stuck.

Well because of uni work loads, the only programs I've been using my pc for are word, excel and firefox; and sadly I seem to have missed out on all the games released over the past year/year and a half.

As I know I could spend the next month just catching up on what I've missed out on and another month finding out what is about to come out, I was wondering if I could get some suggestions for good games that I've missed out on and upcoming games that I don't know about.

I don't have any specific genre that I'm a fanboy of, just as long as it has some good gameplay and can provide me with some fun then I'll be a happy camper.

Say what you will about the sequel - there's not many a game that delivers a visual like Homeworld.

For what it's worth, the Halflife 2 franchise takes place in Eastern Europe. You'll see a whole bunch of ceryllic characters if you know where to look.

Fallout is one word buddy, and it is the better rpg, though whether or not it is the better overall game remains to be seen.

To be honest I don't think its even close, LBP by far, it is truly the game of the forever, and inarguably the biggest and greatest achievement released on the PS3 including that of the near immaculate MGS4.

I'd say R2 or LBP out of those. I haven't played R2 yet, but it has received great reviews, and LBP is just plain awesome.

I suppose it depends on whether you are going to be playing online or off since L4D is designed for co-op.  I've heard virtually nothing about COD5, but everyone seems to be raving about how good L4D is.

Champions of Norrath features up to 4 player co-op, and is supposedly better than Dark Alliance overall...I'd definitely check it out. 

I have about $40 Paypal saved up, and am deciding the next thing to buy for either of my 2 systems. I currently own the "must havel games" of each system:

Wii: SMG, TP, Brawl, SM64 (VC), RE4, Brawl.

Xbox 360, Braid (XBLA), N+(XBLA), Fable 2, GoW2, Halo 3, CoD4.

I was thinking about a few options..

1) Buy the Classic Controller + Wii Points Card and buy a couple SNES games (never played any)

2) Buy Pure for the Xbox 360 (heard a lot of good things about this game)

3) Either Zack & Wiki/Okami Wii

4) Buy a 1600 MS Points card and get Banjo Kazooie (never played) 

Or you could just suggest a game that I don't have on my list...and I'll check it out :D

If I were you I'd go with option 3, giving Okami Wii the slight edge.

Fable II is by far the best out of those, and it will last you the longest, so really there's no contest. 

COD W@W would be my second choice, though

You can't get multiple, here's how I'd rank them in order of priority:

1. Fallout 3

2. Fable 2

3. Left 4 Dead

4. Dead Space

5. Far Cry 2

6. COD W@W

7. Resistance 2

I don't think any of them would be a bad choice, however.

Similar questions are being asked in this forum but I am having a real dilemma as to which one to buy...I usually go by the motto "when in doubt buy both" but my wallet is almost empty as i just spent a lot getting the GOW2 Limited Edition(:D worth every penny though) ...and i am finished with it....i know both are of different story types and both are a blast to play through from what i have read but....i am still doubtful as to which one will last me for some time....

So can anyone advice which one.....?

I need some help locating a game, or more specifically a game type.

I have a couple of friends that have an X- Box and a PlayStation. They enjoy playing games together, but only this specific type.

In broad general terms their genre of choice is the RPG, but more specifically they are only interested in games that can be played multi player from a single console (in other words, no network connection required) all the characters must appear on a single. Non-split screen and the perspective must be top down, or ¾ top down.

To further illustrate, the games they already own are: for the X-Box; Dungeons & dragons Heroes and for the PlayStation; Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2,Champions of Norrath and Champions: Return to Arms.

My friends seem to think that there are no other games, for either console that would fit the above listed criteria.

They may be correct, but I just can't believe it.

If anybody can recommend any other games, of this nature for either console, or the Wii for that matter I would sure like to hear of them.
