i was looking 4 a game thats like [PROTOTYPE] darkness - dark sector
any game like 1 of these is good
What systems do you own? If you have a PS3 or a 360 you should check out inFAMOUS on PS3 or Crackdown on the 360, as they are similar to Prototype. Resident Evil 5 is similar to Dark Sector.i was looking 4 a game like prototype or darkness or dark sector

I've gotten really bored with Final Fantasy XIII and am hungering for a new RPG to sink my teeth into. I own The World Ends With You, but can't stand it (mostly thanks to the music and characters). I have a few games in mind. Which of these would you recommend I play first? Ideally, I'd like an RPG with plenty of exploration, stuff to do, people to see, minigames to perform. Again, it'll make a nice change to FFXIII.

- Dragon Age Origins (360) (I hear this suffers compared to the PC version though... wish I owned a PC)
- Dragon Quest V (DS)
- Dragon Quest VIII (PS2)
- Shining Force III - Scenario 1 (Saturn)
- Skies of Arcadia (Dreamcast)
- Phantasy Star II (Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection... already own it)
- Final Fantasy XII (PS2)
- Persona 3 FES (PS2)
- Persona 4 (PS2)
- Grandia (PS1)
- Valkyrie Profile (PS1)

If you're looking for exploration, I'd go with either Dragon Quest 8 or Skies of Arcadia (especially the latter, since exploration is the focus). I hear the random encounter rate in Skies is hideous, though...I wouldn't know since I've only played the GC version, which apparently has a smaller encounter rate.
I have both RE5 and Uncharted 1 & 2
Along with all the MSGs, the Orange Box, and Bioshock.

Heavy Rain seems like a good rental to me, and inFAMOUS seems like a good buy. Both games are great, but if you can only spend money on one, inFAMOUS is the longer game. I'd still definitely recommend playing Heavy Rain though.I can't decide whether to get Heavy Rain or Infamous. What do you guys think? I only have money to buy one.

[QUOTE="jaqulle999"]I'm addicted to Bad Company 2, so I'd recommend it, but you should download the demo for Just Cause 2 and check it out.should i get just cause 2 or battlefeild bad company

Go with Bad Company 2, it's fantastic, great multiplayer and campaign.
Persona 3 and Persona 4 has lots of grinding but to be honest its not all that repetitive in those games mainly due to the story to both of them being so great.I've gotten really bored with Final Fantasy XIII and am hungering for a new RPG to sink my teeth into. What game would you recommend me to get, because I like RPGs and Simulation and some Action and Horror.
Got both of those, I made it to Algonquin but stopped there, and check my profile for my opinion of RE5. Also you might wanna try out Darksiders it's a really good game.

in the market for a new game, have a ps3 and xbox 360, just tried ff13 and bleck, boring gameplay. loved mass effect 2, mainly love scifi shooters, just finished Batman AA, great game!. in the middle of bioshock 2 and im bored. any suggestions?
Need a new game.
- Must be modern. Burnt out on playing bad looking older stuff atm.
- Must be fairly long as im looking to absorb a good deal of spare time.
- Action Adventure, RPG, Action, Shooter.
- I hate multiplayer
- Must have a good story
- And most importantly, it must be FUN. Good does not always = Fun which i have found out recently with several new games i ended up hating.
Im looking to get GoW3 soon but im broke and cant really afford $60 games at the moment. Looking for something from the last few years that i may have missed. Have 360, PS3 and PC.
@Alter_Echo ^Bioshock? Maybe Fallout 3.
I want a good story game but can't decide between Heavy Rain or Dragon Age Origins.
What FPS would you recommend from the past 3-5 years ago, and maybe even 10 years ago, and would it still be a good experience today?
If this game has several sequels/prequels already, would you recommend playing the first one first and go thru the second, then the third, etc?
Please include how long it will take to finish the game.
Games that I have played since acquiring nVIDIA GTX295:
Crysis (finished)
Crysis: Warhead (finished)
Hellgate: LONDON
Gears of War 1 (finished) (Is there a Gears of War 2 for PC?)
Red Faction: Guerilla (finished) (The only thing that sucked about this game is that I finished it, including the Bonus Missions. They should make tons of Bonus Missions for this game)
