looks incredible. although for some reason I was never a fan of the way the guns felt when they were fired. I love the environment, I can't wait to play!!

i'm a console gamer but crysis 2 was stunning on pc ,definitely crysis 3 will going to be hit on pc with dx11. Personally i dont much care about visually in game ,i only care for is game's story and gameplay which today's most of the games are lacking it

Combining urban and jungle by making a city with vines, trees, grass and rivers. Kind of a basic math, I don't believe they thought about it real hard as they make it sound they did. But I'm not saying it needs work, all in all, it looks impressive with awesome visual graphics and gives the players what they want. I had both positive and negative comments for both the Crysis 1 and 2 and now that they're removing the negative and adding the positive, this game seems like it's gonna deliver what I want.

I don't believe he's using the PC version. When they show him bringing up the HUD for the optional weapon attachments in-game it shows the face buttons on the Xbox 360. The game actually looks great on consoles.
5 Like @dabomb790 amazing how many people like you don't know yet that PC's can use gamepads aswell ,all controllers ,wheels etc , i know that you PS3 and Xbox 360 fans want it to look like this on those consoles ...but keep dreaming on.

Looks really good but I miss the freedom and just messing about with the first Crysis, just seems too cinematic since the 2nd game and I don't like that all the time.I'm glad Psycho and Nomad are back in it, cool characters.
I hope the AI are really better in this game, in the 2nd game they're absolute rubbish, in the first game they were much more challenging with the Aliens and good fun with the Koreans.
Crysis games show us that we will live in a game world that almost like real world in the future.Now hardwares limit us.Grafics are superb and i wanna see it on pc with a new gpu...

4 Like wow, he was really honest about the 'bad' support for the multiplayer. for that he is now in my good books.on PC Crysis 2 also did feel better playing with a 360pad, nice to see Crysis 3 looks to be the same. Not every PC gamer plays with Kb & mouse, nice to see the option is there for both :-)
looks just liek Crysis 2. Can they at least add bullet wounds and gore? Change the engine at least a bit?
Spoilers GALORE in this demo... (not the demo itself, but the presenter, he completely spoiled the end of crysis 2... come one man...)
For anyone that is preferring Far Cry 3 over Crysis 3, keep in mind that the two games will be released 8-10 months apart from one another, giving everyone enough time to play through Far Cry 3 and budget your finances for Crysis 3. If anything people should be more worried about choosing between Assassin's Creed 3 and Far Cry 3.

@alin8921When I posted this, Gamespot had not posted a confirmed release date for Crysis 3. It said it was to be released during Q1 which ranges from January to March. That would be 7-9 months to correct myself as well as you based on the information I had at the time.
You know, there is other methods to vent your frustration of being a virgin and living with your parents still other than being a smartass by correcting people.
@doheny420 why not all games? I mean, if people have enough money to buy their respective systems, surely $60 a game isn't too much
@xdrmonkeyfishx Many people still try to manage their purchases. Normally, if two games are released at the same time, most people choose one. $120 + tax for two games is expensive for anyone.
amazing graphics for xbox ... at first i thought it was running on pc ... but then i say the x and y button ... not bad ... like the more vivid , lively setting of the game ... hopefully the game doesn't feel empty like the previous one did...
and the guy plain has no clue how to play a shooter , or his skill less and aim less XD ... but whatever XD
1 Like after playing the the first Crysis i found it really annoying in Crysis 2 when it kept pausing my movement to explain game mechanics mid game,,like when u get to go invisible for the first time and kill that soldier.. I prefer more sandbox type of game where its different each time if i want it to be and the enemies wont always be in exactly the same place everytime,, ie here with the electricshocking from the air shaft.
Why is it in so many shooters they never actually hold the grip added to to the gun? They still hold the barrel like it's not even there! I'm sorry but that just bothers me. Also, I wish the enemies could remove the explosive arrows if they were quick enough. It seems silly that they just look around for 3 seconds. But that could go into a whole other discussion on video games being too predictable and simple. Anyway, this game looks like a lot of fun even though it does seem a lot like the second one. Loving the bow, kind of reminds me of Turok!
The comment about giving the PC users extra stuff has reinstated my trust in Crytek. Now looking forward to it!

1 Like Too familiar... Too Crysis2-like. Most important for me in SP is AI, and bigger spaces. In MP: No trophy glitches, no lags, no stupid double-switch-gun-melee glitch, no connections dropping: Basically whole new MP:)

@mickyfinn84 Developers prerogative. It'd be pretty embarrassing for him to die during a demo. I wouldn't be surprised if they turn on their infinite health cheats.

Looks nice, but I wonder how the gondola version can possibly compare with this. It won't look half as good.

Why make a game that can not be run on the computers other than those of the developers? Are they not planning to sell the game to the outside world?
