@gamingfrendly @Tixylixx no they did not. most of the core team were intact even after the transition into SEGA. I believe the main reason would be budgeting from THQ. A lot of their original plans were scrapped by THQ during the first few stages of development. By the time SEGA took over, it was nearly the end product and thing much could be done, beside publishing it
@oflow also MoW have a terrible AI, lots of silly micromanagement like the old Xcom. Its like commanding a bunch of brainless drones that require player to input every single command in minute detail.
@Cloud_imperium Dont get me wrong, I admire the production values. I enjoyed the campaign. I do not see any improvement in the gameplay department from the predecessor SC1:broodwar. War3 was a major improvement from the predecessor and it really a major leap in gameplay if compared with all strategy games during that time.
As i said, SC2 is just much more appealing to the casual crowd due to acti-blizzard marketing campaign and MLG.
@pohman @Cloud_imperium @y3ivan Sin of solar empire & expansions. Wargame EE/Ruse. Hearts of Iron (a bit hardcore strategy). Homeworld. WIC. Total war.
