well there is a reason half of the wii games r compared to other consoles, 1 of the reasons and its a good one, wii has alot of ports being thrown on it, so did 360 when it was only a year old, remember how all the 360 games had reviews at the 5.5-6.5 range, none of them were really good, even the great games got sub par reviews and at that point 360 had no competition at all.. anyway yes over half the games on wii have ps2/xbox/xbox360/ps3 versions and for some reason .. hell even the nintendo faithful critisze the system, not so much because the system but because devs r lazy and r feeding us bs... I gotta be honest the select wii titles that r beyond awesome have received pretty damn fair reviews.. one of the main gripes people have with even the best wii titles is that in some areas even those games got the short end of the stick.. wether it be gameplay  or even the almighty graphics punch.. spiderman, lets say for instance spiderman 3 was only released on the wii , what would you rate it, I would rate it a 6.5-7 at most.. why because the controls r not to awesome, they r doable but not polished enough, then of course the graphics suck ass even when not compared to another version, they flat out suck.. and although im personally enjoying the game in all its barely textured n64/ps2/dreamcast glory I cannot say it deserves more then what I said it deserves.. why is that.. because there r flaws in it.. the graphics do bring a rating down quite a bit.. yes you r right graphics do damage a rating greatly because what is the use of having more power in the wii if it barely achieves gamecube specifications/standards.. I too defend nintendo to its very core and love my wii and have convinced many that they and their families would love it... however the whole its only 6-7 months old and developers have not learned to use its potential doesnt work on this case, this is not a dual/triple/quad core processor here with 250 pipelines running through it matched with a 512 meg graphics card, this si a souped up gamecube and supposedly the differances for developing r for it diffre only slightly.. also we can argue that the wiimote is a defense, maybe the devs wanted to work harder on wiimote implementation so they slacked offf everywhere else and slapped a $50 price tag on the product to test the waters.. no fact is devs r lazy and if gamespot or anybody else gave the crap games we r being flooded with higher scores then they deserve then devs will continue to send us crap.. im glad websites give bad reviews or rate harshly because it makes you think about whether you should buy the game or not, it deters many from even thinking of the purchase and in the end the crap doesnt receive enough support to lose money making more crap..then developers start thinking about what they need to do to sell software..improve gameplay, improve graphics etc.. then 1year down the road we get a product that is passable or even better yet... if it keeps up this way much longer before we know it the best looking game on the wii is gonna be RE4.. and we can hardly use that as argument being as it is yet another gamecube game which looks superior to any and all wii titles at the moment..

so while to some graphics is all that matters, to others like myself I wanna see good titles come to the wii and have good looks as ell, at least tap into a fraction of the extra little bit of power the wii has and give us a little eye candy from time to time.. the best looking wii titles I have seen so far that r not cube ports r redsteel, and heven forbid im saying this but onepiece and of course bleach..the rest is completely gamecube crap and some r even worse then ps2, games like farcry r like psp on a bigscreen..im no graphics whore at all by any means, but if someone is gonna realease games that involve exploring a map at least use some decent texturing..prince of persia rival swords looks pretty good as well for wii,, oh but once again gamecube..now games like warioware r perfect because while not graphically complex they r colorful and cartoony and have no pixles..paper mario another gamecube title originally but instead became a wii release... metroid ,ssbb,and mario galaxy will be the first to go slightly higher then gamecube in the graphics dept...

Dude the game RE4 is not being dumbed down one little bit, actually everything is in all its original gamecube glory, not the ps2 crappy textures but the gamecube best game of the year version, then to make it even better yet it will support 480p for even sharper image quality.. oh and it may be a little easier according to what they said in the preview article because the slower moving holding down trigger pointing and shooting has been done away with, now you use the wiimote to aim and shoot at your target supposedly so now you can move faster when needing to turn and shoot etc... so I guess pulling off head shots is far easier now..but dumbed down I think not..

also everyone wants to complain about how umbrella chronicles is dumbed down on the gameplay side of things because it will be a rail based shooter etc.. well I for one am OK with the choice for that game to be that way, Why? thats simple umbrella chronicles is based on pretty much the entire resident evil series up until now, to take that concept and make it a game that is the size of all the games in one title it would be entirely too large of a game, it would take far too many man hours to complete and well it would have a enormous budget as well.. I also like the idea of UC being rail based because I for one like rail based games, I would love to revisit scenes from all my favorite games in a new perspective, also being as it is a rail based shooter they will be able to do some cool cinematic effects and match them with most excellent graphics, not to mention 2 player gameplay is always fun when it comes to rail based shooters, house of the dead , time crisis, virtua cop and many more just bring back fond memories, and it will be nice as stated before to revisit all those games in this format without having to go through all the bs all over again..

for those who have been complaining about that decision, be glad capcom is even supporting the god forsaken wii at all, after the crap nintendo has pulled through the years I think everyone should be thankful they get anything thats worth a damn from third part developers, seriously though, I personally love nintendo and have always supported them but from N64 on they have blundered far too many times and they have slowly been regaining lost ground with developers.. capcom has done one thing right, they have not only supported nintendo the whole damn time but some of their best games were released for nintendo systems, we know this and so does capcom.. all the resident evil remakes, resident evil zero, resident evil 4 all gamecube games for the most part and the best versions of those games as well.,. where ummbrella chronicles is concerned it gives all these new players who have joined in the gaming community to see what has transpired so far, it gives us a way to refresh our memories and see everything in a newer perspective,they r gonna give us a quality title regardless of what anyone believes and it will be here withen the consoles first year or 1 1/2 years of its life which to me is a blessing, not to mention the wii version of RE4 is another quality title to show their support even if it is a rehash project its a damn good one...

the only problem I kinda have with what was said on capcoms behalf is that little insult that was thrown out there toward wii owners... however for the time being I guess it is ok, for the most part if they were to rush out a difficult title right away/full blown re title they would probably ruin the control mechanics and no matter how beautiful it may be it would suck due to unusable gameplay mechanics, more or less when capcom more or less said we were brainless sheep they meant to say, that we at capcom r currently brainless and dont have any idea how to fully utilise the wiimote controrra yet so what we r gonna do is give you one rehase of a great game that we know will sell and we r gonna give ya a great new brainless shooter that you can play solo or with a friend and you can ven get baked of of marijuana and have a good time with it until we can bring you a RE title that will be as successfull as RE4 or better yet...

pokemon looks great but is not all that awesome really, actually being as I had a hard enough time figuring out how to even get to the arena and actually battle a little because my japenese is lets just say under par.. the game itself is alright but all it really is is another pokemon arena type game, you can upload you pokemon from diamond and pearl onto the wii via wifi which I did and it worked which was pretty cool because I can tell you the pokemon look great at least on the wii.. of course by me saying this kinda bust me out for having a dsx and wiikey.. but I am not like most, I actually buy the games that r worthy of purchases, anyway pokemon is definately one of those games that I wont buy unless of course . as far as playing online I didnt even try because I doubt it would allow me to connect to the servers, although it did update my wii from the disc before the game even loaded.. I ay go for strikers and just wait on pokemon, unless of course you have diamond or pearl on ds and wanna battle people online..
