@metallinatus: Your crystal ball is broken. Look at the sales figures for all of Nintendo's home consoles. The only system to beat the NES was the Wii. Every new system sold less than the previous one with the exception of the Wii. Unless Nintendo can hook a larger crowd like they did with the Wii, this system won't last long enough to have more than one exclusive Zelda game.
No surprise. WiiU games were being cancelled long before the WiiU was cancelled. The joke is on them and Switch owners if they think the console is going to last very long. The switch will only succeed if the 3DS crowd migrates to the system.
Nintendo is so stupid they don't even realize all the money they are loosing by not supplying demand. The sales of this thing could almost make up for the WiiU's failure if they would just make more to sell, lol.
This is a cost cutting measure to keep the price down. The PS3 was more expensive than the competition because they forced a bluray drive onto consumers when it was new. They don't want to do that again.
Preordering a digital copy is stupid. They won't run out of digital copies on day one. Anyone who knows anything about computers know that computers can make infinite number of copies.
@lonesamurai1: By your logic you would be perfectly fine with the police entering your home without a warrant or cause because you have nothing to hide. What about when nothing becomes something in of itself?
