First Nintendo announced a new console and now MS. This console gen is much more shorter than I expected.

Good to hear. I'll be sticking with my 960 until the 2080 or 3080 is released. By than VR should be a cakewalk.

I thought there was already a call of duty with zombie mode last gen. Do people still get excited about the same old, or are they literally born yesterday and everything old is new again?

The Vive cost more upfront but that is what I will be saving for. I'm more excited about VR pron than the current line up of games.

brand new concept = another gimmick

not sold at loss = outdated hardware

no E3 hype = people forget you exist

I don't see how anyone can expect Nintendo to make a comeback and dethrone MS or Sony.

It was the PS2 of last gen when it came to gaming. But MS & Don Mattrick ran the brand into the ground when they forgot it was the gamers that made them #1 and that's why MS is second place now.
