I would like to see something in either the Civil War, the era of Chinese Dynasties or Feudal Japan, or maybe something in 18th century England or even the French Revolution. There's no reason to move the story into modern day. It just doesn't need to be done yet, there's so much history they've already missed out on.

Wish I had a few million to invest in Take Two right before GTA V hits.

@victorlamy Most computers nowadays come standard with 8GB of RAM, some with 16. I think this is why the PC gaming community always laughs at us when it comes to video games. We end up with something completely standard and call it "next gen gaming."

@thequickshooter I read they were thinking of having 2 models of the console. One would be a cheap arcade version where all you get is essentially a media machine to play Blu Rays and Arcade games, while the more expensive version will be for the next gen gaming.

That would completely bite MS in the ass. Honestly I can see a lot of disappointed kids waking up on Christmas and finding out their new Xbox doesn't even play any of the new games they want. It would just be a complete mess.

Multiplayer survival where you run around and all the NPCs are zombies. That'd be fun.

@Gelugon_baat Not sure why you're so adamant on defending this thing, but in response to your statement, yes, those who paid for the premium do want better forums. A lot of the incentive in premium membership is for the added features on the forums. And the people who paid for premium do mainly use the forums. So why wouldn't this bother them? If I was paying monthly to use a website and then all of a sudden their forums became useless, I'd be pretty peeved by it.

@illuminatirexx exactly.. they've made it so confusing now that you're left either trying to figure out where the useless empty new GS boards are or you're ordered to leave GS altogether and head over to GF.

How can that possibly be good for this site? Did they just run out of ideas on how to further destroy the use of being a member of this site? I honestly feel bad for those people who pay for the premium membership service. Money down the toilet since the forums have become utterly useless.

@Gelugon_baat @Stringerboy Dude we get it, you've been screwed over by a GF mod and now you're anti GF. It's happened to me as well. Get over it.

Like I said there has to be a better solution to this thing than just forcing a board migration. At this point you either have to "discuss" on the new boards (which as I said, are pretty much barren wastelands) or you're forced to leave GS altogether. This is their big solution to overzealous GF mods? How about changing the rules so that GF mods aren't responsible for GS users? Or how about assigning specific mods to specific boards? Either way they could've thought of a different solution than just forcing us to leave.

And I know what you're gonna say, "give it time." Sure, I guess SOME level of activity will continue on the new boards, but it will be nothing compared to the activity we already have on the shared boards. And who knows when things will actually pick up? I don't want to wait a month before I can get any good discussions going, I want to post NOW! Thanks a lot GS.. this is how you repay me for being an active user on this site for close to 10 years now? Smh.
