even if the WIi U could handle it at 1080p 60fps EA still wouldn't make it

Well, the Wii U can handle 1080p at 60fps. The difference is that to do so certain texture effects have to be lowered compared to, say, the PS4. The whole 'resolutiongate' has been blown way out of proportion. 1080p at 60fps isn't difficult to do. My 5 year old PC has played games in 1080p at 60fps for years, but it isn't as powerful as the hardware in the Wii U.

I wasn't trying to play the resolution card necessarily. EA was saying the Wii U couldn't handle the game, I was saying that even if it could that EA wouldn't make a port for it. And I didn't say it but my reason for that is I'm sure EA (while avoiding saying it) feels that their games get little consumer support on the Wii U and it's not worth their time and money to develop ports for it.

Well fair enough. And I have to agree with that. EA just doesn't care about the console, and it has nothing to do with which resolution it can achieve. It's selling too badly for them to bother. But they keep making bull sh*t excuses. I'd rather they just came out and said they don't like the console.

Why do I have to have a preference?

I'm thinking the same thing.

I chose Nintendo for the purpose of this list, but there should have been a fifth option. All of them. I buy all the hardware and play games by every company. Nintendo are my favourite, that's why I chose them, but I'd be foolish to not consider anybody but them. For as long as I have played video games I have played consoles from all the manufacturers as well as PC.

I own both systems, but if something inventive and charming like Tearaway can't move units then this won't either. Most p[eople who love Final Fantasy X and X-2 already own both on the PS2. As for 3DS owners, we're having a great time at the moment.

My favourite moment of E3, by far, was the announcement of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Although I personally feel the game never quite matched the hype and anticipation its announcement was nothing short of epic. And Sony's showing last year just blew Microsoft away, and Jack Tretton's face when everyone screamed to what he said was just priceless. And somebody else mentioned already, but the Halo 2 showing at E3 2003 was great as well. As for my worst moment, choosing is a lot more difficult. Sony's conference in 2006 was abysmal, and then there was Nintendo's showcase of Wii Music. And as good as Sony's conference was last year Microsoft's was equivalently as bad.

Gen 7 was really slow off the mark. It always felt to me like Microsoft launched the Xbox 360 too early, and nothing for it at launch was compelling enough to make me want one straight away. But because my Dad loved the first Xbox he got a 360 as soon as he could. Even my fanaticism for Rare at the time (something which has since disappeared thanks to their recent games) wasn't enough for me personally, despite Kameo and Perfect Dark Zero.

@turtlethetaffer: the mix-up with the links has been dealt with. So, again.... I really hate to self-advertise, i'm not proud of myself for doing it, but I really need an outside opinion......are these reviews horrible?

When you put the original broken link up, and it took me to my own reviews, I felt really proud of myself as I genuinely thought, for a moment, that you read my reviews and were impressed haha :P

I've tried my best to like a game like Skyrim, but just can't do it. I also find it ridiculous that a lot of reviewers, especially Kevin, would give it so much praise when the game is clearly plagued with glitches and bugs. I heard they were fixed, but really? Be honest next time!

This claim that its PLAGUED with glitches is GROSSLY overstated. The folks who whine about the excessive glitches are just as annoying as the people who praise the game. Both are extremely wrong.

I enjoyed Skyrim a lot, but as somebody who played it at launch I can safely say my experience was marred at first by the amount of glitches and bugs I encountered. Everywhere I went I encountered something messed up. Some of the glitches are humorous at first, but after a while I was sick of them. But playing it now is totally fine. It's like a completely different experience. It may have been a mess at first but at least Bethesda sorted it out with successive updates.

I have played Skyrim for hundreds of hours, and I have honestly never once found a major, quest-breaking, AI breaking, or graphics disrupting bug.

Never.

you and me both.

in fact, all I can do is scoff at the mere thought, since, if you take ALL MY GAMES COMBINED I've had only a few problems here and there. I always wait for these game-breaking bugs that never, ever show up.

have I had a few glitches that, oh gasp, make me restart? ya, sure. have I had a few broken quests? sure, until, they get patched or someone finds a way around it.

I have only experienced one bug myself, and that was at the beginning of the game. Since then Skyrim has run almost perfectly without any issues besides the Xbox 360 texture pop in issues.

I got it at launch, and bugs and glitches were all over the place. It was a real mess. Some of them were genuinely funny at first (I saw a head roll UP a hill), but after a while the humour simply disappeared. Playing Skyrim now is almost a different experience for me compared to launch.

......limbs can be cut off?

Since when??

Since when is a head a limb?

In your case it probably is a limb.

Since my One Handed skill reached Level 100 I've been able to decapitate people. I don't have control over it, it just happens sometimes. Y'know, when those cinematic 'finisher' kills happen and the game camera swaps from being first-person to looking at your character do the last attack on an enemy.

OH. MY. GOD.

WHAT ELSE HAVE I BEEN MISSING????????

It's Skyrim, so probably quite a bit :P
