COD 3 (only because I thought the 24 player online was super original at the time) COD 2 MW MW2 WaW The Modern Warfare games are fun, but I feel they're getting a little formulaic with their structure. I guess it has been successful, so why should they change it, but I don't find it as interesting.

What do you believe Microsoft won't either announce or show at their press conference that many expect them to? I know this is a long shot, but I'm gonna say Alan Wake is a no-show at their press conference, although many believe it will be there... What do you guys think?

Alright, I deleted the game installation, and I saw a light at the end of the tunnel... It read the disc and allowed me to install a game update. But when it comes to re-installing the game to the hard drive, ITS STUCK AT ZERO!!! What can I do??

Hmm...so your other games still work? It's definitely a problem with the game that I havent heard of before. Can you still return it or is it too late? If not then call the store and see if you can do anything.

Ya, I was thinking maybe asking for a new disc or something? I'm guessing it's too late, but I'll have to see...

Alright, so I'm having a pretty rough time right now... I was playing some RE5 online Co-op the other day when my partner and I finished the level. The end of the level scoring thing came up, and it said I was saving... It was taking so long to save that my partner quit and I finally had to turn my PS3 off. I knew it was risky, but the game was frozen. I tried starting it up again but all it does is show the Playstation 3 logo thing, and then turn to a black screen. It will whurr really loud twice, and then is silent. I tried deleting the game saves, but the disc still won't read. My other games work, just not the game I want to play! What can I do???

OK, the other day I turned on my PS3 to play some Resident Evil 5 (Great game, though slightly flawed) and all that showed up was the background of my PS3. No icons, nothing else. If I held down the PS Button, it gave me the normal options of turning off the controller or console, but that's all I can do with the thing. Am I having an HDMI issue, or is there something wrong with my PS3? What should I do???

Once you have selected the optical audio in the audio settings, go to video settings and put hdmi audio to linear pcm, and set optical audio to bitstream. This will give as I would callit juice to your optical audio to surround sound and less to the hdmi carrying sound to your tv.

You will also have to have a surround sound receiver that allows trudolbyhd, and in which case it should also have a hdmi input. If you do have that then you really shouldn't have a issue running hdmi from ps3 to surround sound for your hd audio.

But if not then just do optical and use the settings I posted first.

If I do that, though, how will I run HDMI to my TV to get it for my picture... Would I have to use component cables then? Cause the PS3 only has one HDMI port... Thanks for the help!

Well Im unsure about TruDolby HD, But I know Optical doesn't have enough bandwidth to support PCM 5.1 and 7.1 and both will only work with HDMI. It could be the reason.superkoolstud
Alright, that helps... Thanks!
