Seems pretty obvious to me they're going to make Batman into the new Talon for the Court of Owls. It's pretty much their MO, kill off a potential Talon, then they resurrect them and brainwash them.

@cheeseweasel24: Seriously. Who gives a shit what someone who helped make the film has to say? Why is this newsworthy? Did anyone even remotely think there was a chance they'd say,"Don't play this, it's going to fucking suck"? Hell, -THAT- would be newsworthy. Elon Musk telling me that electric cars are the greatest thing ever doesn't sway me very much.

While I may not think she deserved 50 million for Black Widow, that's not the issue. A company like Disney that can easily afford to pay -what they agreed to- should not be screwing over their employees like that. Releasing it on streaming services and then using that against her. What a bunch of scumbags. I hope more directors/actors stand up until they fix this crap. It's probably too much to hope someone gets held accountable for this (well, the person really responsible, I'm sure they'll find some low level to blame this on), but at least we can hope they stop trying to use their power and influence to **** people over. It's also not helping that WB didn't **** over Gal Gadot on the 1984 release.

I have to honor contracts I sign. Why shouldn't Disney?

@sippio: Do I "want" cosmetic only microtransactions? No. Do I care that much? Not really, creating costumes shouldn't really take up so much manpower that it seriously lowers game development (which I do care about).

You asked if the outfits have stats... You don't seem to understand what "cosmetic only" means. If the outfits have stats the affect gameplay, then they aren't cosmetic only. Anything else would be against its very literal definition.

Look, developers are always going to look for ways to make more money. This is a fact, and we can't wish it away. Since they are going to do this regardless, what we want is the most inoffensive, non-pay to win system they can come up with. They're never going to make everyone happy, but it's seriously ignorant to believe no one wants new cosmetics. Billions are made every single year proving that statement foolish. Personally, I never buy any cosmetics, I barely even use the free ones I have, but it's very clear to me that people really enjoy having new costumes and emotes and shit.

It just seems really selfish, since all you're really saying is, "I don't like". You simply don't see your behavior as selfish because it's what you want, and you feel anyone with sense would agree with you. That's, ironically, even more selfish.

They can throw in all the cosmetic only items in the world in, just so long as it doesn't seriously disrupt development or playing of the game. So far I haven't noticed many (none spring to mind) games with cosmetic only microtransactions as being too obnoxious. I'm talking paying for a game, not the free to play games which I largely avoid. I don't consider different costumes as part of the core gameplay experience, and so I don't really care if they are included later or for purchase. Games like Battlefront II I am not counting either, mostly because it was created with a pay-to-win strategy that they only adopted to cosmetic only after they realize what a horrible idea it was.

@cappy : Are you kidding? Cyberpunk 2077 isn't even close to the most complex environment. People just literally stand around, or all make the same exact animations to the environment. Nothing like seeing 25 people all squat down in the exact same way, like they're some kind of "flash mob". I don't know what you mean by "complex" aside from a large city area. There's no reason AI couldn't behave 1000% more realistically. You must not have played that many games, because Cyberpunk 2077 isn't even close to the most complex. Complexity is more than just a city that's basically a maze. I don't even like RDR or GTA but both of them stand head and shoulders above Cyberpunk for AI realism.

@Gamod: ick, what a horrible thing to read. All of the Snyder DC movies were crap. I love comics, I love movies, and I hated those DC movies. If Snyder fans are already going to say it's 9 or 10, why are they even here? How about you go into a movie without expecting a score ahead of time. You know, judge a movie on its actual merits instead of basing it on whoever directed it? I like most of Zack Snyder's movies, but I can't stand his superhero ones, he doesn't really seem to understand why people like comics

It's the new "You don't have to pay more to play mode". Ubisoft wasn't even sure they could do it.

No strings attached? You have to spend hundreds of dollars to get it. That's a fucking rope, not a string.
