Thanks for the replies. The problem is i have literally no knowledge about building a gaming PC. i wouldnt know where to start. but i also dont wanna spend more than i need to. if only i weent such an idiot.

So currently my PC is utter garbage and can barely run a screenshot of a potato. i was hoping to get a new PC next month and this is one ive been looking at:

i was planning on adding a 560ti instead of the 550 and also getting a razer keyboard and mouse. this will end up running me about £650. does anyone in the uk know of anywhere cheaper? or know of anything that can help me out with all this. i havent got a clue what im doing and i dont want to get ripped off. CCL has similar prices but doesnt come with an OS which sucks.

So yeah any help would be greatly appreciated. people have suggested i build one but i havent got the faintest idea of where to start with that so i gues its out of the question.

i did it, and the strange thing is no guards spawned for me on like the 20th try. we just got shriekers and it was a piece of cake then. sont really know what happened to make it do that but ill take it.

a bit of campaign followed by a bit of horde, then some multiplayer. i didnt like gears multiplayer either until i played the beta, trust me its amazing this time round.

Gears of war 3, dear god i couldnt be more excited for it. i couldnt be any less excited for MW3. im done with the COD franchise. i used to love it but black ops ruined it for me. im also very excited for skyrim and battlefield 3, cant wait for the beta next month.

does battlefield vietnam expansion count? its just awesome i just wish more people played it

just one thing is it 32 or 24 multiplayer online for consoles ? ive heard both (hope 32) (want 64 but i have a computer that cant even play minesweeper)

lmao youre not the only one dude, my PC can barely run microsoft word :L it was never intended to be a gaming pc or anything though. its a family pc used purely for the internet. and its 24 unfortunately, but maps are scaled down to make it work. i highly doubt well notice it much. i mean bad comapany 2 had 24 players and i love that game.

i say skyrim, but id love it to be gears. im so excited for gears. i havent been this excited since star wars battlefront 2 came out. im with you though, it has everything i could ever want from a gears of war game, its gonna last me a life time.

but elder scrolls games are amazing and like the above poster said, its one of the very few non saturated genres left. it will be a refreshing change of pace and i think everyone is gonna love it.

i only have the x11s and yes the wires can be a pain but i still love them, and im looking into getting the dss unit to turn them into dx11s. im not a big fan of wireless stuff but the x41s seem worth it, if you have decent rechargable batteries. but one thing to note is that ive heard people saying the wireless on the xbox interferes with the wireless headset, but if you are using an ethernet cable you should be alright.

im just getting into them too, and the d pad on the controller really causes some problems when trying to land big combos in MK. i havent ever tried using a fight stick but i really want to, i just cant really afford one yet.
