I was thinking about buying a headset for 2 reasons:

1) I won't disturb anyone that way

2) It will give me a better experience(I think) while playing games on my 360.

I was looking at the X41's and I wanted to ask peoples opinions of them.

NOTE: I am aware that there are better headsets but the price just seems too much. I live in the UK so the X41's are £90.

Turtle beach Dx11 are the same as the X41s except dx11s are wired and wired is better then wireless becuase wireless needs batteries. Check them out they 7.1 surround sound and theyre only 109.99 on bestbuy right now. i dont have dx11s (i have astro a40s)but they got good reviews.

It just seems like too much wires, which will get in the way of everything.

Get the x41s. As a person that has owned several different ones. These are amazing. They out perform my professional quality 7.1 surround sound. Just keep some rechargables near your gaming chair and you are good to go!

i only have the x11s and yes the wires can be a pain but i still love them, and im looking into getting the dss unit to turn them into dx11s. im not a big fan of wireless stuff but the x41s seem worth it, if you have decent rechargable batteries. but one thing to note is that ive heard people saying the wireless on the xbox interferes with the wireless headset, but if you are using an ethernet cable you should be alright.

x11 is good.

Nice and wired.

I don't like wireless stuff near my brain. Phobia.

I like the Trittons that are true Dolby 7.1. In my opinion, you should look for ones that are true 5.1 or 7.1 and not emulated with only two speakers. It makes a world of difference.

Of course headsets like Turtle beach are very good, but because they're wired, there's always the chance the wire will go dodgy, and have to be in a ertain position to work, like mine did.
Tell you what, for the price, here in the UK, around £35, a wireless headset is fantastic, no wires, very sensitive and doesn't even feel like you're wearing it.
I got mine and never looked back.
Also, wireless headsets don't tend to echo as much.
