I can't name a single person I've talked to who enjoyed 4 more than 5.

The Paleco Bay mission alone blew every GTA IV mission out of the water. Also, the people who couldn't handle the Lamarr/Franklin  conversations have obviously never hung out in hood, or seen the Wire, Menace 2 Society, etc... Believe it or not, this is the normal lingo in the inner-city.

Rest of the 1 billion goes toward Ryse and Dead Rising?

Mr-Kutaragi

Doesn't this thread already exist?

And if you really believe the xbone controller will look and feel like those shoddy, see-through knock-offs..you're delusional.

I've never used a mad catz controller that felt bad.

My biggest problem with them (and most 3rd party controllers) has always been that the analog sticks feel "loose"... Not as they sit in the controller, but when playing a game the control feels off.

I don't think the Xbox One controller will suffer that problem. If it feels like a mad catz controller that's not really a problem for me based on my experience.

Well, the analog sticks are the most important element of the controller... so if they feel weird that's not a good thing.

I've never been able to use mad catz. The buttons are awkward and less responsive, and it feels awkward to handle IMO.

Considering MS dropped millions of dollars to improve their already perfect 360 controller, I seriously doubt the integrity of this article.

If you're not willing to shell out the extra $100 for the kinect, that's fine. I, for one, see this as nothing but a good thing for the system. Sell millions of kinects, and let the developers take less of a risk incooperating the device into their games.

the 3rd one just felt like another shooter

So you preferred the shooting mechanics/set pieces of the previous Mass Effects?

[QUOTE="tccavey2"]

I just don't get it. It's been a while since I've played the first 2, but I did not get any impression playing the third (recently) that the story/dialogue/subplots took any hits. The ending was questiionable, but I guess I just didn't emotionally invest myself too heavily to let it ruin the experience for me.

I thought there was too much melodrama splattered in too many places. Now that I think about it maybe it was the acting and not the writing itself that gave me that idea, although I did get pretty pissed off at the constant cutscenes with the kid in them that were completely pointless except for stirring some childish emotions.

I thought the flashback cutscenes were fine. If not slightly forced, but fitting for the character development in the final chapter of a series. You see these kind of flashback/cutscenes in EVERY movie and videogame now. I think it's hardly something to let ruin the whole experience for you.

For me, the large set-pieces, large-scale battles were what won the game over for me. Adding something the previous installments never really had while maintaining the magestry of sheppard and the crew.

Here's to hoping Rockstar learned from there mistakes with GTA4.

Less investment in super-realistic physics, and more fun!

Not expecting much from GTA online judging from past Rockstar online attempts.

A shame it didn't have a wonderful story nor dialogue unlike the first two.

ahh Classic M$ pulling the savy "less units/higher desirability" scheme.
