Some people complaining about a supposedly short game. I'd like to see them complete it in 10 hours on "Purist" difficulty. Most critics and the debs recommend playing the game on harder difficulties for a true Hitman experience. Enemies are more numerous, they react quicker and are more suspicious, and 47 isn't a bullet sponge so engaging in firefights is deadly. The Instinct ability can also be turned off if players wish. Play it on "Purist" and then complain. That's my plan :-)
Haven't played this one, but I just picked up the original Most Wanted on 360 (I'm 34 years old, I know I'm behind the times!). What a great game. Story is mega cheesy, but actually a solid vehicle for gameplay progression. I've watched all the trailers and lots of vids for the current release, and I'll raise these questions: - No visual car customisation? Whaaaa?! - No bonnet cam? - No rear view mirror? For real, or did I miss that? - Only 10 on the most wanted list? I'll take the 15 driver blacklist thanks.
I think my issue is the same as many others. The trailers are going for serious emotional impact and then follow that with quirky and sometimes bizzare gameplay mechanics and storytelling. Dead Island was OK, if a bit frustrating, but could have been so much more. I want a more gritty story with choices relating to survival, and characters I can actually believe in while I'm playing. And for god's sake, fix the voice acting!!!
@Paoksis Actually, I would say that the cons are FAR outweighed by the many fantastic elements of the game. Get it! Just remember to save your money because there's some great equipment later in the game. The "boss" fights are stunning. Great world and exploration, great combat, forgettable characters, OK story, heaps of loot and customization.
@MJ12-Conspiracy Sorry mate, I really enjoyed Shift and I'm still playing Shift Unleashed alongside Forza 4. But I agree that a new Burnout is overdue, and another Midnight Club would be ace as well thanks Rockstar!
