Who gives a flying fruitcake about SLAs?! I believe Tom's arguing on principle, and with Sony's announcments we as gamers have a clear choice when it comes to consoles in relation to used games and console mandated DRM. I will not buy an Xbone because of this, even though I love my 360. MS didn't "clear up their stance", Sony cleared it up FOR THEM. And a fine job they did too, I say. I can forego Forza and Halo, the only exclusives I cared about. In fact, I might pony up for a cheap PS3 just for The Last of Us and GT6!
Love my 360. Never let anyone else operate it. EVER. Still got plenty of life left in it, and I see myself still using it in 18 months time given my game backlog. It might well have a companion PS3 by then though. This gen has been amazing.
No offence? Not a lot is known about some of these games, so this is a neat package summary that includes some gameplay where possible. Jess does a stellar job presenting too. Plus she's Aussie :-)
Wow. I hope MS is checking the comment count on gaming websites and actually reading some of this stuff. Unbelievable watching live as comments keep coming in! 8265 signing off.
Indeed. MS need to be taught a lesson that also sends a message to (other) publishers as well, that gamers are consumers and we will not tolerate this $hit. I want a vibrate, competitive console market but MS is taking the mickey. Just a couple of weeks before they announce games (remember those?) and they still stubbornly refuse to clarify these issues!
Yes, Eurogamer has an excellent (long) article regarding specs and comes to some compelling conclusions regarding RAM etc. DDR3 is basically confirmed with some simple math.
