Spencer needs to do something soon because the PS4 already has Bloodborne, Uncharted, The Last Guardian, God of War and inFamous. Gravity Rush 2 was already given good reviews and they have The Last of Us 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Persona 5 and the Final Fantasy 7 remake coming up.

The single player looks horribly boring. The rogue just took 20 hits from 4 different foes and simply quaffed potions to stay alive. This looks like your ordinary run of the mill hack n slash to me.

Steam is quite possibly the smartest business move any company has ever made in gaming. They were one of the first to provide an online purchasing platform for PC games and they get a cut of every game sold on Steam...genius. Pure genius.

Did the Total War series need saving? I thought Atilla was excellent.

Is it just me or does the game seem kind of plain?

I know they said no more expansions...but common man! Why not release a new expansion each year. A lot of people would pay $20 to keep the adventure going.

@kutulu1: It got a 10 because it is a massive open world game with deep characters, solid combat, immersive side quests, consequences for your choices and an amazing story line. I don't think "the loot system" was much of a factor in the grading of the game.

I really hope this does not work out for Microsoft. The idea of new consoles being released every year is not a comforting thought. We already have to deal with Apple releasing the same phone every year with the latest CPU put in it.
