PS2 and GC... I could probably enjoy a 360, but I don't feel a need for one. I used to game quite a bit on my PC, but it's aging a bit too poorly to hang with most games from the last year or two.

I'm tempted to pick up Transformers, but not much else outside of that. I still have Saboteur, Batman AA, Infamous, Marvel UA2, and SW:TFU to finish. I also have ACII, RFR, GOWIII, and MGS4 to start. Yikes.

JRPGs are, by far, my least favorite. Fighting games aren't really my favorite, either. Pretty sold on everything else. Sports, 3rd person action, FPS, music/rhythm, racers... RTS is probably my favorite genre, but not on consoles.

Just a heads up for those of you who haven't picked it up. As for me, I was planning on getting KZ2, but I might get this instead. I can't decide

Edit: You can also get GTA: Episodes from Liberty City for $26 if you buy it in the next 2.5 hours.

Am I doing something wrong? Episodes from Liberty City is still coming up as $32~ for me...

According to the Today's Deal page: "Discount applied at checkout. One per customer." http://www.amazon.com/gp/goldbox/ref=cs_top_nav_gb27 "

Ahh, cool. Thanks for the help.

Overheating, most likely. You gotta give the PS3 a breather sometimes. If you wanna roll the dice a little google "thermal paste PS3" and you should come up with instructions on how to reapply thermal paste to the cell processor. Word is that solves a lot of issues with the older PS3s... which makes sense, since it's advisable to reapply paste every 1-2 years in a performance machine that generates a lot of heat like this one does.

Fine for me, as well. Weird how this kind of stuff keeps getting started. Never once have I had an issue with my original 60gig. Does that mean there aren't problems out there? I guess not... but I find it very unlikely that there's a game out there that has a negative effect on a measurable number of PS3s.

My family currently has a CECH-20 (Slim- 45nm Cell, 65nm RSX)PS3 that I like and use a lot. I have been considering buying a second PS3 for my own room to hook up to my Sharp LC-32LE700UN 32inch HDTV, obstensibly to use as a blu-ray player but also for some gaming (I mainly use my 360 on that TV). I read through ps3secrets about the fact that the RSX recntly got a die shrink to 40nm. Basically I want to know if it is likely that Sony will release another revision in the next year, or if I should go ahead and buy the CECH-21.

How do you like that TV? I've been looking at it quite a bit online but haven't seen one in person.

i have my ps3 set up like this now.....all u need is a hdmi to dvi cord.....then use either the multi a/v cord that came with the ps3 for audio or use the fiberoptics if u have those.....then u need to go into the setup of the ps3 and tell the system where the video is from and where the audio is from.....it will automatically detect the video tho......

This. I have my PS3 connected to my monitor via HDMI>DVI. I have my audio either routed through my PC or split directly into my PC speakers, depending on whether my desktop is on or not. Works like a charm.
