Stop mocking Sony, you're making it cry!

It and its $78 billion dollar revenues!

[QUOTE="bphan"]I actually hope installing on harddrives isn't implemented. I don't want it to be like PS3.Schlozz

Same, waiting 25 minutes for DMC 4 to install is pretty ridiculous.

I know, installing a game while I'm home on lunch break so I can play it when I get home for the night was awful.

So now the "definitive" version has longer loading times, slightly less technically proficient presentation, and costs me $60 + whatever two episodes will cost + an undetermined, presumably unlimited in-that-XBL-will-probably-never-be-free fee to play online + poor quality hardware to be run on?

Yup, I'm good with my copy (PS3). Lovin' it.

And on-topic - mine has never frozen, and the people on my friends list who had that problem (about 4/30, as far as they discussed it with me) have not had a problem since the patch.

GTA4 was delayed? That sucks! I live in the present, where I'm, you know, playing the games that are out.

Perhaps if I say it louder people will notice.

Amazon WORLDWIDE declares the 360 spiked 248% since the release of GTA IV

station124

...and yet it's nowhere to be seen in the top 20 bestseller list for videogames. Of course, the PS3's not in the top 10 (it's #11 as of this moment) but... um... ya know. I can't play numbers, so I'll go back to playing my PS3.

Alright people, I've been digging through Cnet's financial reports looking for anything about Microsoft's ownership and I find nothing. If someone can find actual evidence of that then I'd believe it - "reports" (read: opinion pieces) like this certainly sound a little far-fetched from anyone with some analytical sense. It's also beset by some amazing BS - ie. "Who wouldn't want to play GTAIV on Xbox Live?" I mean, are they serious?

Now, what you CAN say about Cnet is that it owns Gamespot. Now you can call in someone with a tin hat to scream "conspiracy!"

[QUOTE="donwon06"]what did you expect? it reminds me of timeshift. just another generic fps, that doesn't really do anything original. i guess you can say that about any fps these days though. The_Rick_14

Because all fps have the concept of Nectar.

...or allow you to control time. This demo played like Turok or Timeshift but with more solid gameplay I honestly thought. I will pick it up... sometime. I've been looking for something to trade Army of Two towards.

No, I don't think this gives me any cool points or anything like that. Nevertheless, I was blown away while listening to the Beat the first day this game came out and the DJ said something like "now give it up for Johnny Polygon" and then BOOM - there's this guy I know on the radio.

I've known Polygon & his crew since before they got signed & all that. No, we weren't tight, and no, we never hung out more than once or twice, but I still have a CD they burned me of their first pre-cut demo, and it's still excellent.

That was the first time I was really blown away by this game - many more moments have followed (flying through downtown LC with my RL homies in a helicopter is a recent one that comes to mind.)

Game on!

My only problem with this game? It's practically all white! If anyone else is playing on a big DLP you know what I mean... mine eyes! They bleed!

LOVE the game, though. Great idea, good execution. I may skip the PS3 version and pick it up for PSP though... nah, who am I kidding?

Overhyped? Yes. Blu-ray player? Yes. It's also a great game system that has kept me satisfied since it launched, and I don't buy anybody's hype so I wasn't "disappointed" like all you "hard-core" gamers.

Flamebait to the max.

Gamers without X-box 360 are probably losing like half of the enjoyment from games this generation.Supafly1

Statements like this are just as fanboyish as the OP.
