Sure but that is because its an older product. The new ps4 pro is still on number 5 while the xbox one S is at number 15.

Overreactions, melodrama, poor directing, and some implicit plot holes. He is a freakin' prince, rumors of prominent political figures being dead wouldnt last long. Especially in the information age.
A mere sighthing of him would be national news. Hell, merely Hillary Clinton coughing is national news. But it doesnt seem the game will address that fact, and I can only assume the rest of the story will be just as full of plot holes. I would also love an explanation as to why people are using swords when assault rifles are a thing.
You do not know whether they are truly overreacting if you do not have the full context of the scene. After the fall of Lucis the entire world of FFXV is controlled by Nifleheim, a totalitarian empire. Censoring and controlling the news is something totalitarian regimes usually do.
Probably the most overrated game ever. The environments were so linear it was painful and the enemies walked around in circular guard patterns like on the N64. They did a heck of a job with the production values as they always do, layer on the gimmicks until it appears like a good game. Prebaked lighting, linear environments, bad gunplay... I couldn't even finish the game it was too repetitive.
It's the last game I played with a story and it pretty much killed my interest in linear corridor shooters with boring gameplay. Give me good gameplay or give me nothing. Throwing the same bottle to distract the same enemy 100 times in a row is the opposite of fun. Please don't make me play it... I'd rather stare at a wall.
I am a huge Playstation fanboy but I fully agree with what you said. I will also say that the story was pretty meh as well. It was predictable as hell, the whole setting is as cliche as it gets and Joel is the most generic kind of protagonist you can think of.
What so good about musou games ?
To be honest, I do not know. Japanese gamers absolutely love musou games for some reason though.
Why do japanese game conferences look so depressing to watch? It's so serious and like nobody seems like they're having fun and it just seems really hard for anyone to even break a smile. Not to mention the whole thing seems incredibly low budget. Also that japanese to english translator was terrible.
Because most mayor japanese console games are actually announced on either western conferences or japanese magazines like famitsu, dengeki or 4gamer. Well, TGS has just begun, so I am still hoping we get some interesting announcements.
@quakeknight1991: It really was underwhelming, but to be fair TGS conferencences aren't as good as the ones in the west; A lot of games were missed in action for this conference, I hope they are not for the whole event.
Well Square Enix did say they would announce a brand new game the 15th of September in TGS. So at very least we have that to look forward to. Hopefully it is not just a mobile game.
Any quick summary?
EDF 5
Gundam Versus
Granblue game developed by Platinum games (the only interesting thing in the conference)
And a whole lot of VR garbage
I didn't watch it, was it just as underwhelming as the "PlayStation Meeting"?
I thought was way worse. They spent most of the time with VR garbage.
This was probably the worst conference sony ever had.
I agree, it was pretty bad.
At least I got the release date for NiOH out of that and we got to learn Death Stranding was an open world action game :P.
The only thing I personally liked about it was that Granblue game. It was the only actual game announcement the conference had. Besides, it is made by Platinum so it will probably at very least decent.
