This was already known, earlier this year Nomura very clearly stated that Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy VII Remake still had a way to go. Meaning it was very unlikely for them to come out this year.
I am hoping it is not a monster hunter clone, although considering it is being developed by the team that created God Eater it is likely that it does end up being a monster hunter clone.
It is kinda funny though. Previews were overwhelmingly positive since gamescom yet for some reason everyone ignored that. There is one negative impression from a comedian who is not even a gamer and people are using it to form their opinion of the game while ignoring all the other previews. Conan was going to hate every JRPG anyway. JRPGs are games that require patience and as such they are not enjoyable for people like Conan.
@lram45: Or maybe they just did not care about that because they do not use those functionalities? Back then people did the right thing and actually cared about exclusive games rather than media functionalities and movies. And no it has not flipped. The Xbox One continues to be a console without exclusive titles since all of them are actually playable on PC and not just that, almost all of microsoft's "exclusive" titles end up being either mediocre (recore) or just the same Gears of war/Halo/Forza stuff they just keep releasing over and over again. And considering the massive backlash Microsoft got with the announcement I am pretty sure it was not just "Sony fanboys".
@TheEternalGamer: Because just like Revl8n said, I use consoles to play videogames, not to watch movies. It would have probably increased the price of the console for something I am not interested in.
It really is hilarious. When the Xbox one was announced absolutely nobody cared about movies and other media functionalities in consoles and now all of a sudden people do care? LMAO.
