if this is coming out on PC then would it not also make sense to release on PS4/X1? having preordered a PS4 and being a big fan of Dark Souls, I'd love to get this on PS4 instead of my 360, especially since it's not even releasing ahead of the system...

this is probably easy money for Namco. with little effort, they could convert SCV into this game, and rake in the dough.

holy hell that's one DENSE map! The zoom-ins in the city!!!!!

Wonder how dense the natural terrain is - that's 2/3 of the map!!!!

That being said, RDR had a lot of beautiful, but empty natural terrain. I'm super happy to see how dense the city is and how large it is, that'll likely be a fun environment to play in. But the forests/mountains etc might be pretty to explore to look at but not much beyond that. Hopefully some of those side missions/activities they have talked about will be worth doing to take advantage of the map.

Also, I don't think my original Xbox 360 will handle GTAV. Don't really have the space for it on the original 20gb HDD, and as it is i'm always afraid of it RRoD....it's the original model after all!!

REALLY hoping GTAV comes to PS4 (which I have preordered) - i can't imagine that Rockstar couldn't take advantage of some of the power in order to make that giant map more dense and sprawling with life, etc, just like Ubisoft says it is doing with the NPCs in the next gen version of Watch_Dogs and the environments in AC4.

ok, i don't get it.

Are Ground Zeroes and the Phantom Pain two different games?

Because i've read/seen "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" and separately, "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes"

Or are they both coming out in one final package that is MGSV?

Can someone please clarify for me?

absolutely gorgeous looking game, phenomenal looking gameplay and adventure.

The ONLY thing I'm disappointed is the return of the AC3 combat system.

Besides too easy AI, at least AC1 and the Ezio trilogy had intuitive combat where the player really controlled what the character did. AC3 dumbed it down to 'one button' combat that only required rather easy timing, and regardless of awesome looking animations in the combat, the system was a big downgrade from previous entries.

I read Ubisoft guys said that they listened to the fans about AC3's combat, and while, once again I love the animations and brutal kills of AC4's combat, it looks like the one-button system has indeed returned. Also, the AI is as dumb as ever with one guy being brutalized by Edward and the rest just standing and watching.

I'll still love AC4, but it's too bad they couldn't adjust the combat, or include different difficulty settings in the game.

@sammoth @punkdsk8erdude LOL!

I actually haven't owned a Sony system since PS1. I had an original xbox and an X360.

This article is also about BOTH platforms, not just X1. PLUS I quoted PS4 games as next gen games that don't support local multiplayer!

You guys don't read, do you?

@JBStone1981 @punkdsk8erdude Do you hear me complaining about the feature?

Or the fact that no games support the feature rendering it useless?

Dumbass.

@sammoth @punkdsk8erdude and i quote myself, "for right now i only foresee that trend continuing next gen."

next gen. i.e. xbox one and ps4. so again, i ask, what's the point of 8 controllers?

If games actually supported split screen and local multiplayer modes, than i'd be very happy to hear this news.

We are more likely to get local multiplayer in indie games nowadays than AAA titles.

Even games that it makes almost no sense to NOT include local mp don't these days. Take the need for speed series as an example. Why wouldn't a racing game have split screen? Even the multiplayer mode in Assassin's Creed games could be done split screen. Coop modes in shooting games could be done split screen. Honestly Nintendo is the only company taking local multiplayer seriously anymore.

I'm super stoked to get my PS4 when it comes out, and i'm also looking forward to PSN+, but i would LOVE to see more AAA titles support local MP again.

To your point, we can hope that the trend does not continue. But DriveClub doesn't support split screen mp, but again, why the hell not? It's a racing game for god's sake! Same with Killzone. No split screen coop. I see the trend continuing...

what's the point? This gen has seen a drastic decline in local multiplayer and for right now i only foresee that trend continuing next gen. I've only ever played 2p on both 360 and ps3. many games that have online multiplayer and online coop don't even support local anymore, to my disappointment.
