@Akriel_Boulve: Yes that's much better. In a way, you aren't wrong. But if we're gonna compare complaining about movies ruining our childhoods (when you can easily ignore the stuff that sucks as you don't have to watch it) vs. people complaining about the people complaining about this non-issue, guess which group is going to have a generally better outlook on life?
If you wanna go ahead and whine until you're blue in the face at Chris Pratt and all the executives for this movie, go right ahead. That's what this site and twitter are for. Just know you aren't going to get too many people agreeing with that kind of perspective. I call out non-issue whining when I see it. You go ahead and keep whining. I'll bring the popcorn.

You say you got over other people bullying you so others should too and compare that to me saying people shouldn't get too worked up over a damn movie. Do you think about what you say before you post? You are actually reading wayyyyyy too much into what I said and projecting your personal stuff into my simple solution for what to do when Hollywood makes things that we don't like. I say "just ignore the stuff you don't like and move on". You then equate that to me saying you should get over bullies bullying you.
@stickemup: Agreed. All this crying over franchises being ruined and how it affects their lives has been beyond out of hand for years now. There's been plenty of movies and games that ruined things that I liked, but I got over it. Mario games have been amazing forever. Did that one mario movie from '93 ruin the franchise for good? Nope. The IP is still beloved to this day.
In the end, life goes on. Plenty of good shit to go around. People don't ignore/move along anymore. Gotta be constant bitchin' about everything.
@uninspiredcup: Agreed. Seth Rogen just loves to have the wrong opinion about things lately. The DK Rap was and still is a dorky but cool song. Nothing objectively bad about it. I loved singin' along to it as I fired up DK64 back in the day.
@hardwenzen: I could be wrong, but didn't the PS4 Pro improve the framerate of Bloodborne from the base PS4. It didn't increase the frames per second but I believe it stabelized the framerate so you didn't have those annoying stutters every so often.
That is some of the best news ever recently. So many idiots and talentless hacks in Hollywood now. But even when they decide to make a new movie, it will most likely suck and I am not going to know no nevermind. Pass on trash.
The first one was a flash in the pan CGI heavy take on Dances with Wolves and made a lot of money but was pretty forgettable to me. I had heard Cameron wanted to make like 6 Avatar movies total in some news article after the success of that first one. Did he change his mind or is he still planning on making these stupid things?
@Barighm: Yeah after reading the books twice through I like the movies a lot better but of course, the movies wouldn't exist without the books.
Rings of Power doesn't seem to follow anything. It gives us this very unlikeable version of Galadriel who is the best at everything she does. There are a lot of other boring characters that the show is obviously trying to riff off of some of the characters from the trilogy movies but fails because they are only trying to copy. This show's team has no originality and just looks at what came before and thinks "let's do that" but with no direction. It all falls flat and just sucks. Add to that a story that sucks as well and you have a pretty common piece of crap that continues Hollywood's obsession with mediocrity these days. Money-making indeed. The most expensive show in history falls flat on its face.
Also, wow at some of the comments here. No shit the original trilogy wanted to make money but that old team actually put forth effort and care into the actual story. Rings of power just does whatever it wants, follows nothing, says much of nothing, and is generic CGI fantasy like all the clones of LoTR after that masterpiece trilogy came out. Hence the show is a money making venture.
