Well please list some flaws of the Ps3 then since i failed to do so.

Are you going to mention price, because that really isnt an issue when theres only a 50 dollar difference between the 360 and ps3?

are you going to mention graphics? because its already looking to be that ps3 can hold its own in that department with the games coming out.

So please list a few this is a discussion after all. I have only listed questions and answers to discuss. So far all everyone in this thread has done was post comments similar to "your bias" and "your stupid"

Please if your going to be defensive of your system atleast say some information rather than using a response like a 4th grader might use.

Some questions to ask yourself if you think your system is the best of the best for next gen entertainment, or if it's really just posing as next gen.

*1-Does my system have graphics that Surpass last gen?

**xbox360- Yep**Ps3- Yep**Wii- Nope

*2-Does my system have high def movie capabilities?

**xbox360-Yep (with addon that costs $180)**Ps3-Yep**Wii-Nope

*3-Does my system use a larger capacity for discs so that games aren't inhibited by disc storage size?

**xbox360-Nope**ps3-Yep**wii-Nope but probably not needed due to lower quality graphics.**

*4-Does my system have the possibility of having games with uncompressed audio up to 7.1 and hdmi 1.3 for the next level of entertainment featuring higher levels of depth and realism?

**xbox360-Nope**Ps3-Yep**Wii-Definately not**

*5-Does my system sound like a jet engine when running and also offer disc read errors due to highly compressed information on a disc which scratches easily?

**Xbox360-Yep**Ps3-Nope**Wii-Nope**

*6-Does my system offer its main selling point as having a peripheral that makes it unique but could easily be offered on the previous system or on another next gen system?

**Xbox360-nope**Ps3-Nope**Wii-Yep**

*7-Does my system suffer from such bad reliability issues that the company that made it is suffering billions of dollars in losses just to cover up the fact that the system has been built cheaply?

**Xbox360-Yep**Ps3-Nope**Wii-Nope**

*8-Am i forced to pay money to play against other people online in a matchmaking system setup like p2p where there is no dedicated servers to play on but i know its important for me to pay for it, even though the company I pay forces game developers to charge for additional content that would otherwise be free?

**Xbox360-Yep**Ps3-Nope**Wii-Nope**

*9-Does my system offer a hard drive in every model, or atleast offer a reasonably cheap way to upgrade hard drives if i need to for mulitmedia purposes, such as digital downloads, music storage and game updates.

Xbox360-Nope (and a 120 gig hard drive costs a whopping 180 dollars even though the drive itself is only worth 70 at the most)

ps3-Yep (and an upgrade is only as expensive as the current market of laptop hard drives)

Wii-Nope

*10-After reading all these questions can i honestly consider my system a good Purchase?

I would suggest a buffalo router. I used to have alinksys and my ps3 would alsways disconnect. I got the buffalo and it runs amazingly fast with no disconnects.

I have a Motorola H350 headset that I've been using with my PS3.

For the past few days it hasn't worked with R:FOM. It recognizes when I select it through Accessory Settings, the volume meter goes up when I talk through it to test it, but when I play Resistance, the R3 button just doesn't seem to work. I've switched controllers, shut off my console, reconnected my headset - nothing is working.

Any idea why? Anyone have a fix?

D_Znuhtz

Because YTYAN.

or possibly you should try switching the controller layout and see if that works. Also your bluetooth might have something to do with the options. Check it out.

Here is an interesting article on how even though you pay 50 dollars a year for Xbox live service, Microsoft decides profit is the most important thing to them and limits the size of Xbox Live Arcade games to 150mb.

But they don't openly say it's for their profit, they say its to "let the game companies focus on innovation".

But the real truth isprobably thefollowing...

Microsoft doesn't want larger games to enter the market place and make customers expect more quantity/quality for the same price as what they have been paying.(which would force smaller games to be cheaper)

If you honestly believe Microsoft then i suggest the next thing you do is give Microsoft your credit card and ask them to make your financial decisions for you. and if you don't think microsoft is trying to get as much money as possible from you try googling articles on why bonus content from Gears of War costs money when the developers planned on it being free.

killtactics

yes Sony does not care about money:roll:.... Sony wants to feed poor kids in Africa.... by the way did u just say MS does not want bigger games to come out b/c of expectations???....also if your ganna pay 600$ for a PS3 dont talk about cost...

I have not complained about money. Im stating the fact that you are paying a service fee to a company who chooses to give you lower quality service than they are able to because they don't want you to expect anything free and they don't want you to expect more than what they currently offer at the same price as what they offer.
