@Tekarukite: but when I connect mine to the pc, even if the pc has no Bluetooth, it works... also with the android tablet with Bluetooth off even if it never had been paired. So what I'm figuring is that it's simply a software issue with the ps4 firmware right?
In other words, for the device it was designed (PS4), the DS4 has limitations not present than when connected to other devices by other manufacturers (including Microsoft, who made Windows 10)... if it is like that then I find it most disappointing in regard to the quality of Sony's competence to support their own hardware.
(Before anyone starts calling me xbot: I've only had Sony consoles and never found the xbox appealing, much less the xbox controller - proof is that I bought a DS4 to play with the pc; it's simply that each day I find less reasons to buy a PS4 when I have a 5 year old PC that seems to keep doing better, and this detail reinforced that feeling of disappointment on Sony)
I don't get it... I have a DS4 for playing in my PC (but no PS4, at least for now) and it works wired even when I take my Bluetooth dongle out. It also work well with my NVIDIA Shield K1 and an OTG cable.
Also on the PC I have a (free) utility that lets me turn off the lights, or dim them, chose the colours an so on.
You're telling me that with the PS 4 nothing like that can be done? And if there is Bluetooth interference or the battery is low, even if one uses the microusb cable, you can't play with the DS4 on the PS4 but you can on a PC?
The next Wii.. will last 3 or 4 years tops before the industry tries to shove the next "big thing" down our throats. This one in particular will stop receiving Sony first party support in 2. To sum it up: big nope and yet another epic fail on the horizon.
Cool. Now incomplete games with mandatory DLCs, season passes and microtransactions to milk everyone will definitely become the norm since there won't be any alternative.
Now really, MGS 5 and Witcher 3 took dozens of hours from my life (on PC). No regrets. Fallout 4 is sitting on my steam library waiting but just because I'm enjoying yakuza 5 that finally came out in the west so it's been time to take off the dust on my PS 3. Loving it.
Would like to play bloodbourne at some point (love the souls series, played demons on ps3 and the others on pc) but for only one game I don't feel motivated to buy a PS4... all the rest of good things I like that have been coming out I also have on PC and would prefer to play them there anyway... maybe if Yakuza zero and 6 are translated to English I'll buy a PS 4, otherwise I'll just pass on this generation consoles.
Unless there are any other worthy console exclusives out there that justify buying a console (Xbox or PS) right now? (note I simply despise fps and multiplayer only focused games so please don't say destiny or halo)
