Chris Roberts was the creator, designer and director of Wing Commander series back in the 90's.

In the 00's he just did Freelancer, which was pure fun and a masterpiece. Then he took a hiatus until he embraced the SC project.

Wether SC will come out or not I can't tell... (I wish it does), but oh boy did he deliver in the past! :)
