Technically, ever since Xbox games started coming out on Windows Store, that was the start of a "new Xbox era". This is just that, but in a different box, really, if we're focusing in the digital-only aspect.
@Ravenlore_basic: Three years of high end gaming isn't really something to feel bad about, when you can afford it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Same thing with my PS4Pro.
I tried Geforce NOW recently, and while it's interesting and really neat, it's completely unplayable for anything faster than a single player adventure game (playing on a 300mbit connection).
I see myself having a supplementary streaming sub (like GF NOW, which allows me to play games I already own on Steam etc), but it's not even remotely close to what you get with local processing. It's insulting to even compare, really.
