@zzanzabar its not that the content of the tweet are a source of news but the tweet itself is the news. celebrities get caught all the time trash talking or doing controversial actions. i think its the same with twitter. when someone tweets something eye catching its the fact that he/she tweeted that that makes the news

yes Twitter is a great source for news and lols. it's quite entertaining to watch rivals jab at each other in public and then get embarrassed when they realize everyone was watching

hmm I just thought, maybe they're not counting the Steam sales since they offered Portal for free a few times before so its hard to tell who bought it and who got it on the promotion at that time.

@WolfGrey that doesn't make sense, a lot of people pirate on their computers but you don't see them shutting down all computers because of it. Heck i could probably pirate on my phone if i knew where to look but they won't do and shutdown the phone or its OS just because of that. there must be other reasons
