You could play gamecube games on the wii. It has the controller ports and the memory card ports. Just open the top of the wii near the power button. yea I know , but I still kept my gamecube
I think the Wiimote being the main controller was the bigger factor driving devs away rather than the sheer console power and adapting games on it some got over it by adding Classic Controller support , some just didnt bother
Four Sword Adventure port , or new game following the same concept thats the one and only thing that comes up to my mind when I the concept controllers
