God forbid the story be actually logical and all. We're shown he's clever, quick, intelligent, and capable of being ruthless. He does his job and does it well. He's hired by people who are part of an Empire that no longer exists, to find a mysterious thing. He finds said thing, and it's a "baby" of a race that we watching know very little about, even with the expanded universe of Star Wars that has been touched upon over the years.

The show doesn't treat you like an idiot, you're meant to pay attention and figure out things on your own. Glean what you can from the characters going through things. The people in this show speak and act like ACTUAL people, something Star Wars has long been missing.

Like you said, it's 2 episodes in. It's building foundations, establishing things for later on. Just because you don't have some emo brooding person with immediate things to deal with in their absurdly complicated life, not unlike many other shows these days.

And you're obviously not paying attention if you haven't figured out much about said Mandalorian from the first two episodes. I can list off about 30 some odd character traits he has already. Never mind that episode 2 confirmed baby "yoda" is a force user - something that their universe has long been missing. Remember, at this point in time, Luke is basically one of the ONLY other people in that world capable of tapping into this (Leia too, but we already know she cannot and does not use it that much). And he's off attempting to create a small version of an order that has LONG not existed, too.

20 business days to 3 months? What a crock of shit. I guarantee you, they're doing that so it doesn't affect the initial release take of Shenmue 3 to investors and crap like that. >.> God damn Epic.

Ys Net needs to hang their heads in shame at this. This is absolutely absurd.

@kstaggs87: Except they are doing shit. But you're right, in a way, when the game does come out, lots of people will do nothing - including not buying the game from that dev team who decided to flip everyone the middle finger when announcing the deal.

@Prats1993: So because the launcher is free, that negates the lack of common features and excuses the massive security holes it has? Okay then!

@Tidus1012: All this problems, as you put it, is because the devs tried to get out in front of the anger in the worst, most condescending way possible.

@Barighm: People aren't upset because they "don't like Epic".

What a poorly written article that completely glosses over why people were actually upset to begin with. No shocker, though, anything to fully negate the fact that the devs beat a hornets nest with a bat when said hornets didn't even know of their existence to begin with. And now they're crying because said hornets are attacking them, as anyone with half a brain would know was going to happen.

This is precisely why the media in general has garnered such scorn themselves - they are not honest in their reporting. Hell, even the article someone else from GS did about the original announcement, completely glossed over the fact that the devs were mocking and ridiculing everyone and anyone who has an issue with EGS launcher in general (despite the fact that all the concerns about it are fully warranted, especially the security holes).

@ballashotcaller: Apparently having an issue with lacking a whole slew of common features, not to mention recognizing the launcher has a shit ton of security issues, is "complaining like a 2 year old" now.

@Barighm: Keeping promises is "nice", yeah, remind her of that when Epic screws them over down the road and they have to rely on the common peon customers they are actually making the game for to begin with, eh?

All I can say is when Eva 4.44 eventually comes out West, it better have the ORIGINAL voice cast like the first three remake movies. Which it should, seeing as how Netflix should have jack shit to do with it.

You wanna know the difference just in voices, watch the rebuild movies with the original voice cast, then watch the Netflix version of the original series. You'll understand better why people who grew up with the original are pissed to all hell about the voices in particular.

That is not to say the replacements didn't do their best, I'm sure they did. But I'm sorry, the original voice cast was simply better.

Put it this way - imagine some company buys the Simpsons some day and redoes the voices for the entire series, and they sound vaguely similar, but not the same. Same thing with Eva (and honestly, any animated series that goes through this travesty).
