Well it's not a retail copy, but it's from MSDN so it's legit.

Hey guys,

So I installed Win7 via BootCamp on my MacBook Pro late last year and I've just gotten around to firing it up, only to find that no drivers were installed alongside it. No network drivers, no video drivers, no nothing. Has anyone else come across this issue? While I wasn't expecting Win7 to have all the drivers ready to roll, I at least expect some of the basic ones to be there, like the network adaptor. Anyway I guess I was just curious to hear what you guys had to say and to see if you could give me any advice on what to do. At this stage, I'm thinking of just reinstalling it.

Cheers,

Koz

I love the Jurassic Park franchise and the first film is one of my favourite films of all time, if not my favourite. However... I don't know if reviving the franchise is a good idea. Joe Johnston proved that they have no good ideas for the franchise when he stole all the bits from the first two books that didn't make it into the original films and made them into Jurassic Park III.

If they can do it well, I'm all for it. Some of the plot ideas that have been mentioned over the years (like creating a Raptor mercenary army) are absolutely stupid and are an insult to Michael Crichton's original story. In my mind the JP franchise is about the science and the outcomes of what happens when two species separated by millions of years collide, not cheap thrills and crappy action.

I wish Netflix would come to Australia, our movie-streaming services are terrible.

[QUOTE="C_Rule"]You mention "home PC" and that you want to game on it, are you sure you need a laptop? However, out of those two brands (for laptops) I'd probably get an ASUS as I'd assume they'd be cheaper and ASUS are a good brand.

I know it kind of goes against convention, but I just prefer laptops because they're smaller and more portable.

Hey!

After four good years of service, my laptop finally packed it in this morning. Because I hate being without a home PC for too long, I've already started looking at new machines, but it's been quite a while since I've looked at PC hardware and I don't really know what's good or bad at the moment. So I figured that I'd ask you guys for your thoughts, to gauge reactions and help me find a decent gaming laptop. The main games I'll be looking at playing include: ARMA II, Crysis, and World in Conflict. If anyone can give me a vague idea of how well these laptops will run those games, it will be greatly appreciated!
