Homework shouldn't be banned, but it should be reigned in. During my final few years at school I would have been doing 3-4 hours of homework on top of a normal day of schoolwork, which is crazy. Good thing I played video games instead!

Hi There,

Are you filling out all the forms and double checking everything?

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is my only one so far. Close to Platinuming Resident Evil 5 and Burnout Paradise though.

Hey Guys and Gals,

It's been a few years since I've been into PC gaming, but Empire: Total War is forcing my hand and making me upgrade as it's unplayable on my current PC. Anyway, I was originally looking at getting a Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00GHZ CPU, but I was wondering how much difference it would make if I went for a Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHZ CPU. Would I see much difference on games like Crysis or Empire, if so how much? I guess it would depend on whether these games were optimised to take advantage of the extra cores right?

Cheers,
James

In Australia, Dominos owns Pizza Hut. Their Chicken Feast pizza is the best!

Personally I'd recommend Krav Maga. It's the self-defence system taught and used by the Israeli military and Police. I've been doing it a few times a week for over six months now and I've learnt so many practical things. On top of that, I've also had the chance to do workshops on specific topics like knife defence, common holds and grabs, stick defence, and a crash course on ground fighting. The people who I do it with are great and it's a lot of fun.

I won't jump in on the argument, but I agree that it's really sad to see the end of Ensemble Studios. Age of Empires for Windows 95 was one of the first games I ever owned--a great foundation to my gaming pedigree.
