I think doing a Sands of Time, Two Thornes, Warrior Withen trilogy, to test the waters to see if the interest is there.
Making a new mainline series game is expensive and risky. These 3 games are still pretty good to this day and don't need much to bring up to modern standards (Just a graphical overhaul and some camera tweaks.).
I don't like the whole remaster after remaster stuff we get, but these 3 games deserve one I think. They helped shape a lot of modern platformers, and it'll be great to experience them again without cracking out the old game cube.
@clay544888: well said! That's the only reason I stopped gaming on PC as it was just to expensive to keep upgrading. I do miss it as the experience was much better but sadly I can barely afford a console on the money I'm on, so I agree the Xbox X is great value for those wanting a true 4K expensive without selling a kidney.
Those who are getting an Xbox X will be in for a treat as not only is this a great game, but it'll look great with the extra coat of paint.
If you have the hardware on PC you would of already experienced this in 4K and that's great too.
Not everyone can afford close to a thousand £/$ for a PC capable of running this at 4K, never mind the monitor to match. Also Xbox aren't forcing you to buy an X. If you do you'll get a nicer looking experinece but that's it.
Maybe we shouldn't arguing about who's platform of choice is better and what it does, and maybe just appreciate the game and whatever experience you enjoy best.
@chiefwiggum16: guessing MGS 2 wasn't your favourite. Yeah I felt pretty f'd off the first time, actually first couple of playthroughs actually that you played as Raiden who was nowhere near as cool as Snake. But the more i played it, the more it grew on me and I became more invested in the other characters like Solidus who in my appoinon was an awesome villian. Raiden did however get the best character reboot when he appeared in MGS 4, but yeah he was pretty crap in 2
@crunkster64: booted up my old 360 to play through MGS 2 yesterday and it's still a great experience even now. Resi 4,5 and 6 are available to buy as slightly remastered versions on xbox one but it would be nice to see them come to BC as well like Halo. But yeah, MGS HD collection would be an awesome addition. All I'd want after that would the DMC and ZOE collections and I would want for nothing more :)
