Sure sounds good. Sell the base unit and play your old games without having to swap cables constantly. How could that be a bad thing?

Sony can't afford to do it. I mean, they're already asking customers to fund the development of upcoming titles - not that that's an inherently bad thing... just kind of telling.

Is it only since Metacritic that people have been throwing hissy fits when all reviews aren't identical? A 7 is pretty good. Read around a bit if you're not sure and make your own mind up.

That's not really so unreasonable. The law exists to prevent insider trading. In Poland, probably as in most countries, all shareholders are supposed to be given equal access to key figures. Any company trading publicly needs to publish certain financial data to the entire public, officially, in financial reports.

Total R* sales, from their annual report:

http://ir.take2games.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=86428&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=2049380

Note, that these are the figures at only seven days after the PC release. Even then, annual sales for the 'PC and others' platform have apparently doubled year on year. R* aren't about to abandon PC.

Edit: My mistake. I forgot about the second release postponement. Those figures are from two weeks before GTA V was eventually released on PC.

Well there's Das Boot, but that was quarter of a century ago.

In 9th Company, You fight against the Mujahideen, so I guess Americans are bad guys by proxy.

If you're going for a monitor with a higher refresh rate, I'd stay away from HDMI. From what I've read, it's not capable of delivering resolutions above 720p @ 120hz.

Given the scale of what CDPR is trying to do relative to their means, I'm expecting early scores to be hampered by a few bugs and release issues... maybe either side of 90% in the first week or two. Once that all gets ironed out and the mods start rolling in, then yeah, absolutely, TW3 is going to become very popular, and MC scores will reflect that.

The market infrastructure has changed a lot in the last ten years. Average internet speeds have increased and digital distribution platforms have become very popular. It's not that indie games have literally appeared from nowhere, they're just much more accessible, less costly to market and distribute and hence more profitable to make.

Working on precisely = tweaking, maybe?

That phrasing is weird. Sounds like untampered sloppy translation to me. Nice clickbait though.
